GAS AND BURPING

I am four weeks post op. Revision from VBG to Lap RNY. Suffered from a narrowing so i couldn't keep anything down. Today I had an upper endoscopy with diltation today and now i have been able to drink without it coming back up. The question i have is where is all the burping coming from. Should that have stopped? It can not hurt one bit to call your MD and it can give you peace of mind if it is reassurance you are given.

Angel, I certainly think you should phone your doctor...if for no other reason, peace of mind. I am facing a revision from VBG to RNY. I'm very anxious right now. Surgery is scheduled March 19th. My VBG was in 2000, and complications started 6 weeks afterwards. It's been a nightmare. May I ask why you had the revision? Was it personal choice or due to complications? My prayers are with you. I'm sure you'll be doing great very soon.
