VSG to DS Revision costs?

That's pretty much my question, does anyone know how much it would cost to self-pay for the intestinal portion of the DS if you already have the VSG? Thanks, Tara

call a surgeon and ask - tell them your a cash pay and see if you can negotitate the cost !! I would call a couple surgeons !!

When I've asked the question, it's been basically the same price as a DS. So, if you're a self-pay, and go to Brazil (cheapest place for experienced DS doc)... you're looking at about $15,000. give or take.

Lap-Band June 14, 2001. Dr. Rumbaut, Monterrey, Mexico.
Lap-Band removed after 7 years and converted to Sleeve Gastrectomy on July 7, 2008 by Dr. Roslin. I've had three happy healthy Lap-Band babies.... and one VSG baby. 5 years out from revision to VSG. Gained 55 pounds in past 5 months, now considering DS. :(
