How long before being approved for revision
Well You answered my question with your signature line. I was really wondering how long between the first surgery and your revision was considered a fair try by the insurance in hopes that they would pick up the tab. Thanks!

Just keeping my options open. I have not gained any weight and am losing very slowly. I have had 4 fills 2-3 weeks apart and at my last one my doc was very apprehensive becuse using flouro he could see I am very tight but after 4 days the restricition was almost gone. I still have symptoms of restriction but not enought ot make me lose what I consider a significant amount of weight. 2-4 lbs a month is not good enough. And even that has not been consistent. I do watch what I eat but I would love to have the feeling of not being able to finish my food even if its available. I always have to stop myslef because I could still eat more. I am afraid if I fill anymore I will be too tight. I just want to get the show on the road. I don't have much to lose. If I were being modest 40lbs would be great but at this rate it will take a year!

I have BCBS PPO and it took less than a month. I had my revision from RNY to DS a year ago today, as a matter of fact and I'm so happy that I took so long to look into my options for revisions because due to that, I found out about the DS. No more dumping, vomiting, food getting "stuck", strictures, I can take NASAIDS, and best of all, no fear of something mechanically breaking (like my staple line disruption and stoma enlargment with my RNY), so therefore no fear of regain!
