Edit: Diet pills questions and Phentermine

My surgeon mention something about Phentermine but the meds i am it appears that i am more then likely not a person who should take this.. Before reading i am not on this meds and it was an option that was given to me but i am on alprazolam & amitriptyline as well as blood pressure meds. I am going to be talking to my dr about what my options are with a diet pill that doesn't have major major side effects.  Anyways any advise on any diet pills that you have taken after weight loss surgery please offer thanks

I've taken all kinds of diet pills and I can tell you this: diet pill only offer a short term fix.  It will work for a little while and then you are back where you started.  Don't mean to sound like a downer but I wanted to be honest about my diet pill experiences.

I understand been there done that dr just wanted to give me something to help get me started but thanks for the reply
