revision from RNY to Lapband?

I had reactive hypoglycemia after my RNY but failed to lose much weight. The hypoglycemia would trigger intense hunger in me and I would eat voraciously afterward. I had a revision to DS in Sept and haven't had an episode of reactive hypoglycemia since. Not sure why. Wonder if a vertical gastrectomy had been discussed or considered for your revised RNY?
