I remember those old prices. I used to get a shrimp ****tail for 99 cents and a margarita for $1. Buffet with hand carved roast beef was about $5. Most of the people I did see in the casinos were older.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Morning gang. I'm staying inside where it's warm. It's not supposed to get up above freezing until the weekend. Things are pretty boring right now. I wish I had something interesting to share.
We watched season 2 of Night Agent. We loved season 1. Season two was OK, but a bit of a let down.
QOTD: I've never seen exotic animals while traveling. I do remember a herd of cows out in California. It seemed like every cow in the world was there. It went on for miles and miles. Gazillions of them.

Good morning Jennifer and Menuers,
Welcome back Mary. I was in Vegas 19 years ago today getting married. Boy how things change. I actually have not been back in 18 years. I still prefer going to the Caribbean or another country for vacation. It always seems to be a way better deal than in the US. No real plans for Anniversary. I got to take mom to bowling so we may go out and have a bite at Firebirds. Nothing Fancy. It's too cold to even want to go out.
QOTD: Nothing in the US but in Canada I have seen black squirrels. In Costa Rica I've seen Monkey's, sloths, Toucans and Macaws, In Cancun Mexico I love seeing the Agouti and Capybara.
Accountability: I've been limiting snacks going for more yogurt and protein pudding other than cheese and nuts.

I also hear that the younger generation is boycotting Vegas for the outrageous pricing. When I first went in the 80's everything was so cost effective. You didn't mind losing because if you still had $10 you could still get a buffet of a Prime Rib dinner.

I agree it is a great stadium and believe they should still wear those hats. If I am in the stadium, I find it very cool that you can get BBQ from Manny Sanguillen. And he is always there working not just a figure head.

Good morning, everybody!
Once I heard somebody say that the only good thing about February was ice cold tap water. So, we've got that going for us.
We made an offer on a little winter place in Florida last night. Hopefully, we will be able to agree on a price today. If we do, then Marilyn and my oldest are going to go down there next week for the inspections, appraisals, etc. I can't really get away from work any more than I am already committed to do, so I will need to stay here while they are taking care of things.
Tuesday is a work from home day, so I will be staying warm except for a trip to the gym. We started watching a UK crime series called Unforgotten last night, so we will probably finish season 1 tonight.
QOTD: When I was fishing in Everglades National Park, I saw a Manta Ray launch itself 5 feet out of the water like it was a spacecraft or something. Bears, Moose, Elk on land. Oh, and I saw a mongoose in Hawaii. They kind of look like squirrels to me.
Breakfast: Corned beef hash
Lunch: Roast beef
Dinner: Short Rib
Have a great day, all!

Quick good morning as my mom hs a doctors appointment this morning.
its currently 9° outside. Yuck. And snowy. Double yuck.
QOTD: I almost stepped on a rattlesnake once. That made me run like the wind. Was lucky to not have been bitten. I saw a wolf in Yellowstone. Fox in Rocky Mountain National Park. We have horned lizards here that have become endangered. Except we call em horny toads. I love them.
B: breakfast burrito
L: soup
D: not sure
the bracelet is finished and altered from what I posted the other day. It's much more fluid and feels nice to wear. Also a pendant I made this morning.
Morning Menu Gang. I'm so over Winter this windchill is not fun at 4am nor is it fun driving and having the wind pull your car all over the place.
Day 1 of the BAU audit at work so far has gone well, but I know he hasn't looked at any of the inspection reports. I may or may not have put a bug in his ear about them. It just gets really frustrating when there are people who just don't do their jobs, and the inspection reports are very important since they are part of our safety program. Other than that nothing else going on.
QOTD: In your travels around the US what is the most unusual animal/animals you have seen? Living in New England my entire life I've seen a ton of wildlife the typical fox, coyote, deer, bobcat, etc. but when we had gone to Florida years ago, I saw two armadillos which I thought was rather interesting and when we went to Texas, I saw a road runner. Of course I had to the meep meep to it. LOL
B: coffee and eggs with ham
