I am so excited for you and Marilyn and the new place. It should be so much fun to snowbird and it sounds like you found the perfect place to do it.

Good morning everybody!
We are under contract! Well, at least I think that we are. With the new e-signatures, it isn't as easy to see signatures as back in the days of faxing, but our realtor told us that both parties have initialed. He is supposed to send the contract today, with the Seller's e-signatures. We have scheduled closing for March 31st, but have an option to move it up if we get through all of our pre-closing tasks.
Sunday morning, Marilyn and my son are heading down to coordinate the various inspections: home, mol, dock/seawall, pool, etc. There is also an appraisal for the bank, but we don't control when that is going to happen. They are going to try and get some fun in the sun while they are there.
I'm back from swimming this morning. Today was fitting day for 2024 gear. I learned the difference between triathlon kits and bicycle kits. I am going to order bicycle top and shorts, because I have a triathlon kit that I have only worn to the event last year. Since it was fitting day, the pool was pretty crowded, I had to share a lane for most of the 45 minutes and have the scuffs on my knuckles (from the pool wall) to show for it.
Other than that, just work and Crossfit. We have moved to every other week for Happy Hour, and fly tying was cancelled tonight.
QOTD: Marilyn has had a couple over the years. I don't go regularly, but if I see a sign advertising something that interests me, I will stop by.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Roast beef sandwich
Diner: broccoli cheddar soup
Have a great day, all!

Good morning menuer's. We are halfway through the week. I've been trying to find inspirational memes for the week and so far, I seem to be accomplishing that.
I have to meet a lady in a little bit at the end of the access road with some horse tack that she is going to buy. So far, I've been doing pretty decent selling off things I no longer need or use. Still have more stuff to go organize and get rid of.
QOTD: Does anyone hold yard sales or go to yard sales? For years I would have a couple of yard sales each year, but since Covid people have been really odd and would steal stuff even if it was a $1, so I stopped doing them and just sell stuff on FB or craigslist. Sometimes I will go to one if there is stuff I happen to be looking for.

QOTD- There is a place here that raises reindeer. I remember going there as a kid. All of the usual but the elk look like big herds of cows standing out in the pastures. They are big, and it seems weird to see them out there in a herd. I was doing some work in Arizona looking at Google maps and the Google truck caught a road runner in mid stride it was cool. There are lots of weird things on Google maps street view.
I'm still not enjoying work, but I gotta make money so there you go. Still waiting for my Oregon tax refund. Initially they said they wouldn't be sending them out until 2/15 and the last time I checked they said 2/18 so I'm still waiting... It's just going to pay my credit cards so it's not like I'm in dire need or anything. It's just frustrating, as I really don't have any patience.
I'm going to attempt to make Alfredo sauce today. It will be shrimp and scallop fettucine. Wish me luck!
Have a great day everyone!

I remember those old prices. I used to get a shrimp ****tail for 99 cents and a margarita for $1. Buffet with hand carved roast beef was about $5. Most of the people I did see in the casinos were older.

Morning gang. I'm staying inside where it's warm. It's not supposed to get up above freezing until the weekend. Things are pretty boring right now. I wish I had something interesting to share.
We watched season 2 of Night Agent. We loved season 1. Season two was OK, but a bit of a let down.
QOTD: I've never seen exotic animals while traveling. I do remember a herd of cows out in California. It seemed like every cow in the world was there. It went on for miles and miles. Gazillions of them.
