Topic: What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Good Tuesday Morning everyone. I think my allergies are already acting up by yesterday afternoon my throat was scratchy, and my nose was stuffy which are both a sign for me that there is stuff in the air. I've seen early flowers blooming and the little buds on the trees are getting bigger. Plus, the dog has been scratching like crazy and shedding. They don't call them German Shedders for nothing. LOL Popped some allergy meds and I'm on my second cup of coffee. Only positive about the allergy flare up is I end up with zero appetite.

QOTD: Speaking of allergies how many of you here are allergic to something? You are all going to laugh, but I am literally allergic to everything I deal with at home. The dog, cat, horse, grass, hay, pollen of all sorts of plants. Thankfully the allergies are all environmental/animals and zero food ones.

B: 2 coffees

L: I have some beef jerky with me if I feel hungry

D: Maybe some soup

Holding off on the treadmill until tonight.

Have a wonderful everyone!!!!

Wouldn't it be nice to know what's being said when we get mani/pedis?

Good Evening! My day was busy but payroll went out! I'm glad I worked a bit this weekend because if I hadn't we wouldn't have had time to deal with some extra issues today. Tomorrow it's back to some interviews/reference checks.

QOTD: I want both, is that too much to ask?! Haha

I'm not posting my menu today but hope to be able to post earlier tomorrow.

Thanks, Mary! I was looking at the results for the rest of my gym's group and they were all in the 25-29 age group. It's amazing how quickly you can get in shape at that age.

Ordinarily we fish for small and large mouth bass and some panfish. We would generally release all of those. As Chrissy pointed out, this weekend was Spring Trout season. We probably would have kept those: they are stocked fish in small lake and won't winter over with all the fishing pressure they get.

In Florida, mostly Seatrout, Grouper, Snapper, Redfish, and Snook. Most of those we will keep some and release some. Snook have very tight limits. I've never had it, but I know Liz has and said it's good.

We are planning for a Costa Rica fishing trip next May. That will be big stuff: Sailfish, tuna, etc.

QOTD- Absolutely speak to animals.

I got to dry my sheets outside on Saturday. I love the smell of clothes dried outside. I went to the store for plants I got 3 types of tomatoes, lemon cucumbers, red pepper, an artichoke and some annuals. Now I just need to get them in the ground. It was rainy yesterday so at least they are watered. It supposed to clear on Wednesday & Thursday so I'll get them planted then.

Still trying to get the last door on the pantry I bought. Then I will need an extension cord so I can move the espresso machine and coffee grinder. I may have one that will work but I need to figure it out. Beware of furniture that requires assembly.

I didn't make it to a movie but I may go today or tomorrow. I have a counseling appointment today, I'm hoping my other meeting doesn't run late.

I rescheduled my little girl kitties appointment to Thursday, hopefully this time I will be able to get her in the carrier without any mortal wounds to either of us.

Work is calling. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all and Happy Monday

, I had a eventful weekend. My mom had a stroke and I'm grateful that she sought medical intervention when she noticed she was having a problem with balance and really dizzy. It's going to be a lot of PT. Her balance, dizziness and wonky eye need serious recovery. It was also her birthday yesterday and I'm glad she was up for celebrating. We did a nice Wildfire prime rib dinner and I brought a 6lb Eli's

Other than that, I played poker, and got to spend quality time with Paula went to a funeral of an 88 year old friend who fell last week. He was an extremely good human being. He became a nurse so he could be a missionary in Africa. He spent 20 years in Africa, met his wife there, and had 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandkids. I'm grateful we meet and I'm happy to have called him a friend.

QOTD- Every language. I think it's much more useful to communicate with every person on Earth than every animal.

B: Nothing but coffee and reds.

L: half a Panera Turkey Bravo sandwich.

D: Leftover prime rib, creamed spinach, sweet potato, au gratin.

Keep it real.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

It was opening Day of trout here in PA. I drove past the lake but not like it used to be. I was surprised how little amount of people were out there.
