Good mornin y'all!
Not a lot going on today. We got the rest of the yard finished yesterday. I did some weed whacking and it absolutely killed my arms. I was in tears by the end of the very short amount I did. I feel so broken body wise. Ugh.
We will get an a/c unit up. It's getting hot in the house. It catches sun all day with no shade at all. I may get a package ready to send and send that late this afternoon. I need to find some time to work on weaving.
QOTD: I love fresh bread too but my absolute favorite is baking oatmeal cookies. It's a home smell to me and comforting.
B: light egg burrito and coffee
L: probably an egg, slice of bread and some turkey sausage
D: chicken.
Good Morning All. Chilly start to the day, but the sun is shining. Not much planned for today. The reason why corporate people were here yesterday was to let everyone know that going forward that vacation/PTO time and holidays will no longer count towards overtime. There are people here that are not happy about that, but what can you do about it.
QOTD: What's your favorite smell? I love the smell of fresh baked bread. Not that I eat much bread, but when we go to Market Basket we always get a loaf of one of their fresh baked breads. You can smell them as soon as you walk in the store. Having to grocery shop before you get to the bakery kinda sucks because smelling the bread makes you buy way more stuff than you originally went in for. LOL
B: coffee and 2 scrambled eggs with ham/cheese
L: 3 chicken taquitos
D: not sure yet might make up some turkey salad
My stepson sent me this picture of his burger last night. The "bread" is made from ground up chicken breast, cheese, eggs, and seasonings. He grounds is up and then cooks it in a waffle maker to make it look like buns. I'm going to try it this weekend since it is basically all protein.
Have a great day everyone!!
QOTD- I use a calendar to track my work, and the one on my phone for personal appointments. I can never remember what I worked on so with the calendar it helps a ton for filling out my time sheets.
I took the photo to the vets and no kitties fitting his description have been reported missing. My neighbor has a live trap and she said she would put it out. I'm not sure what to do with him after we catch him. My theory is that someone is dumping cats around here, there are 4 intact males hanging around out here.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all and Happy Humpty,
I am currently fussing over a friend's text. Yes, a text has me irritated. I'm frustrated that I'm irritated and fussy for something so little. So that's the big concern of the morning. I'll take Cadillac problems over real ones any day.
QOTD- Yes, I use a to do list which has notes and ideas integrated. I use check boxes on my notepad for affirmation.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I used Franklin planner for years. Ended up using their software and pages that went in the printer. I quit when I retired and after awhile started missing appointments and forgetting to do things. I ended up creating a Word document To Do list. I spend 15 minutes every do adding and removing tasks. I have friends who never plan and never write things down. I need that structure or worry that I am forgetting things.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Oh, I love me a good Sauerbraten and potato pancake. We have not had a good German restaurant around these parts since the early 90's.
