Good morning, everybody!
Those goats are pretty cute. I fell asleep in front of the TV at about 8:00 last night, so I'm up bright and early this morning. Doesn't necessarily make me any more productive, but I'm here. I skipped swimming this morning, because I am really trying to get past this ringing in my ear. It seems milder than it was a few days ago and my hearing is definitely better.
Marilyn's windshield has a crack, so somebody is coming over to fix that today. When we lived in Massachusetts, the windshield replacement was free, but in Illinois it isn't. For some reason, Bronco windshields are expensive to replace, so Marilyn will actually submit insurance for it. But I need to be home to get them started and Marilyn is using my car this morning.
Otherwise, today is work from home, Crossfit, and we have fly tying tonight. This week is a crayfish pattern that smallmouth bass love. I hope that I really learn it well, because this one would be in frequent rotation. Before class we are going to a hotpot restaurant. To be honest, I don't know that much about hotpot, so I will have to check the menu.
Marilyn is going away for tennis next weekend (spoiler alert for QOTD), so I told the boys that I would take them out to dinner on Saturday night. I suggested Capital Grill for steak or a seafood place. To my surprise they picked this very glam greek place in the mall. Plus we are going on a Saturday night, so it will be even more so. I hope that the boys know that they will need to shave, bathe, and wear clean clothes. https://www.tavernavioli.com
QOTD: I do not play, but Marilyn has played on as many as 11 teams at the same time. She's addicted.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Chili
Dinner: Hotpot.
Have a great day, all!

I was wondering how the goats were doing. So glad you posted pictures. They are so cute.
We never would have had enough money when I was growing up to buy a tennis racket and tennis balls. That was a sport for kids whose families could afford it. When I grown I belonged to a private swim and tennis club and did think about taking some lessons, but never did it. Definitely would be a good workout.

Happy Hump Day!!! We are all halfway through the week. The little Billy Goat Patches is really starting to be a love with Thistle. They are sleeping together and eating together. Hopefully he brings her into heat and gets the job done which I think he will. He's a little over a year old and she just turned 3. Our other female Bean is just being a butthead and honestly I don't care if he breeds her or not. Here's the two "love birds". Patches is the white one.
In other news I found out that the UO's (utility operators) are not doing the equipment inspections that they are supposed to be doing each day. Things have to change around here or heads are going to roll.
QOTD: Anyone ever play tennis? Years ago one Summer I played with my husband just for exercise and I sucked at it. I'm much better at ping pong. I think it's because I don't have to run around a court chasing balls. LOL
B: coffee and bacon/cheese quiche
L: bok choy soup
D: baked haddock and shrimp casserole
30 minutes on the treadmill
Have a great day everyone!!!
Good Morning on this fine Tuesday. We are in the middle of payroll processing and I anticipate a long day once we get some reports from the other departments. A little long day today might make it mildly less chaotic tomorrow so worth it in the end.
QOTD: Nope, nothing specific, how cool that you'll be able to get some money for the stuff you bought.
TSS: 10 years 5 months
B: SF latte, 3 turkey sausage links, and an orange
L: Turkey and cheese sticks, oikos yogurt and some fruit
S: A piece of fruit and yogurt
D: Soy chorizo, eggbeaters, 2 net zero carb tortillas, no sugar persimmon bread made with coconut flour, a banana, and 2 mini York peppermint patties

The groundhog did see his shadow and there are six more weeks of winter.

QOTD- No, I downsized a lot when I moved to Maui but not enough.
Waiting for the snow to show or not. It's cold but no white stuff 28 right now it's supposed to get up to 42 today. The forecast is for snow Wednesday and Thursday but if it comes it won't last long.
It was a horrible night for sleep, I woke at 1 and the cats wouldn't settle down again. So very little sleep was had. I hate that.
Lots of pressure to be productive at work, but I can't seem to get enthused about it. I really just want to retire.
I never heard if the ground hog saw their shadow, but I'm assuming it did. My daffodils think it is spring, they are looking like they want to bloom, and the tulips are coming up too. I also have some violets blooming.
Coffee is calling my name.
Have a great day everyone!

Good mornin y'all.
Not a lot going on today. I have to pick up a couple of prescriptions and work on chainmail. My bosses show season will start in April so I'm doing a lot of mundane weaves.
We had a high of 89° yesterday and it's 23° right now. My sinuses will be paying for it. It was downright hot yesterday. Yuck.
QOTD: I seem to collect jump rings. A lot of them. I bet I have millions of them. Otherwise I don't have the room for much. I like funky stuff. I love Mexican folk art but don't have room to display it.
B: half an apple fritter and coffee
L: chicken and a low carb tortilla
D: no value yet.
Good morning, everybody!
Good score on the Corningwear, Jennifer!
By my count, this is the halfway point of winter. We are traveling to warmer points during parts of the first two weeks of March, so it's really just these four weeks of February (well, 3 1/2, I guess).
My ear is still ringing, but I think that my hearing is getting better, so hopefully I am on the mend. I did go to CrossFit last night and didn't seem to have any issues with balance, or anything like that.
We have been watching Lioness on Paramount Plus. It's a military drama starring Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman. We are through 1 1/2 seasons and have enjoyed it.
QOTD: I like to buy certain things, but nothing that rises to the level of a collection.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Meatball sandwich
Dinner: chili

When I moved to my condo a few years back, I did a lot of downsizing and now do not collect anything. I still have some pieces of the Blue Cornflower Corning Ware that was a bridal shower gift in 19669. And I still use it a lot.
For while a while, I collected anything that was southwestern. I ended up selling a lot of that at garage sales. With no basement, no attic, and a small storage unit in the carport, I have to be so careful what comes into the house now and pretty much practice the rule of something going out when anything new comes in.

Good morning menu peeps. It is surprisingly warm this morning at 40 degrees. I spent two hours last night going through a big storage closet we have in the basement that is full of totes. I've been slowly posting stuff on marketplace and in one of my ads I had miscellaneous household stuff with a couple of pieces of the Cornflower corning ware from the 60's. Well of course someone asked if had any other pieces. Yes, yes, I do three totes full. LOL
My boss is out sick as is our purchasing person, so the office is pretty quiet today. I have a couple of month end reports to finish up and then I have to go out and get some gift cards for some employees who have upcoming employment anniversaries.
QOTD: Do any of you collect antiques or unique things? While my favorite things are old platters and Painted Ponies. I did back in 2001 end up with a large collection of the Corning Ware Blue Cornflower. I had intended to put them out in a wall cabinet that was supposed to be built but never was. So now I've decided to sell the pieces and I'm finding out that many of them are worth much more than I originally paid for them. So, we will see if I can make a little cash from them.
B: coffee and ham and eggs
L: jersey mike's Italian sub, but in a bowl
D: spinach stuffed pork loin
30 minutes on the treadmill
