If the Dodgers don't win tonight in NY, they will be back in LA on Friday 11/1. I'd love to see them win on their own turf.

Sorry to hear about JB's dad. Hope you're feeling better soon. Drink as much as you can. You can really dehydrate if you do not stay on top of it. Also, if it last more than 2 days I would get to the doctor.

Good Morning Amy and Menuers,

I didn't get back to read the thread yesterday because I had my PCP appointment. It went well. I do have to do a bone density and colonoscopy but nothing I didn't already know. I see Grimm is back and the solar is on. The biggest thrill is the 2 electric bill. I went from $280 to $8. It was exciting. It took me a bit to build solar up because they turned in on in December. Congratulations to Lisa for her new vet status. You're killing it.

QOTD: Very rarely do I track. I use the scale as my tracker. I know if I am up from the day before I need to cut back. I never was a big tracker, but I agree when you tracking it is the best accountability going.

Accountability: I was busy and didn't snack.

I think the secret is to never feel deprived. Make sure you get to eat what you really want and make sure you learn to eat it in small enough quantities. My Fitness Pal is wonderful for tracking and getting a good idea of the calories. I also found reading labels to be a big help. Often I want something but when I read the label and see what is really in it, I might leave it in the store. I know this is easier said than done. It takes a lot of work, educating yourself, and learning to make the right decisions, and forgiving yourself when you make the wrong decision. Pick yourself up and start over. Lots and lots of times.

I could but won't. I don't mind doing the colonoscopy. It's a good reason to take off work and get relief from Mom duty for a day. Plus, if they see something they can take care of it right then and there and I will be done. There will be no problems though ask my family and my husband. They will say I am a perfect asshole.

It's amazing how that tile work holds up for thousands of years.

I actually only told 3 people. I told everyone else I was having a hernia surgery. I did have a huge hernia and thought they would fix it when they were in there, but it was too big so 1 year later I needed to go back in and have it repaired. It worked out for the best because they removed my skin at the same time. I never heard of anyone regretting their surgery after the first month. White Doves advise is always spot on. I agree 100% of what she said.
