It is -g6 here right now, but the sun is shining. A dragon does sound like a fun housepet. Not sure if my cat would approve. Findley probably would not like dragons either.

Good mornin everyone!

Busy day ahead. Groceries and a run to the post office(today or tomorrow). We might go pay on the property taxes. Oh fun fun.

My shoulder is continuing to feel better. I am dealing with steroid side effects but they are not severe enough to negate the benefits. I am so relieved!

I am hoping to get some healthy stuff today. I haven't had pop in weeks. Don't even want that stuff anymore. My mom is wanting to eat out a lot which kind of bugs me.

QOTD: heck yeah! If you look up pit vipers...they are like real dragons. At least it looks like it. It would just be so cool!

B: eggs, turkey sausage, cheese and coffee

L: salad with chicken

D: veggie lasagna

I heard they are making a live action movie of How to Train your Dragon. I loved the animated movies so excited to see the live action.

We're halfway through the week and the temps are supposed to start turning around a high of 40 for the weekend. This bitter cold sucks. I think Finley has finally stopped being mad at Meisha. They were lying together in the kitchen when I came home from work. Of course, he is a cat and can change his mind when ever.

QOTD: If Dragons were real, would you own one? Absolutely. Heck I would have an entire herd of them. Oh, what fun it would be to fly over some one's house that I don't like and have the dragon drop a big turd on them. LOL

B: coffee and 2 eggs scrambled with cheese

L: bok choy soup

D: last of the seafood gumbo

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!

Sounds like things are going great. What new fragrances are out there and where can I buy them? You know I am always getting something new. Jimmy Cho has been my go to lately. I am looking for something light fresh and summer like.

I prefer the clips. However, I finally bought a pair of my own. Before I used the gyms a few times to determine if it was something worth investing in and I ended up with Athletes foot. I would not recommend using the shoes the gym provides.

QOTD- I did my move to Maui and am so happy to be back home. Yes it's only 29 right now, but for the most part I'm glad to be here.

Still not feeling my best, I got a Dr's appointment at 11, and lab work so maybe she can figure out what is going on. I'm not complaining about the weight loss even though I wasn't trying. I'm within 5lbs of my post surgery weight. Now I just need to get some exercise in. My back is better, it still hurts sometimes but not like it was.

I was disappointed Notre Dame didn't win last night, I only watched a few minutes of it. Oh well, there is always next year. I'm hoping that they tweak the CFP and don't have so long between games, all of the teams that had a bye basically 3+ weeks lost their games. I don't think going 24 days between games is a good idea, but who am I?

I need to get back to work.

Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you have all been well! I pop in from time to time to read, I really need to get myself back to being a regular.

-1 here this morning

I celebrated my 10 year surgiversary on November 19!! 2nd best decision of my life, the first was asking my lovely wife to marry me! (32 years in October)

I am still doing well on Mounjaro, my A1c is staying below 5.5 and my weight has been hovering at 195 +/- 3 lbs....

I am very happy that 2024 is behind me, it was the most challenging year of my career, I took over the planning group last February, the planners had been with us for a month, we installed a new fragrance filling line, a new auto cartoner and a new bath filling line. We had a reduction in force at several points during the year and during the last quarter our formulation team began reporting to me. The staff is wonderful, and we are improving our efficiency on a weekly basis. Enough work talk.

Joddie and I are counting the days until our cruise in March, we are flying into San Juan on 03/26, will spend 4 nights at a VRBO we rented with 3 other couples and then jump on the NCL Viva with stops in the DR, Aruba, Curacao, St Lucia & St Kitts. we are ready for a vacation!

QOTD - I really like the area we live in, I do wish we had a lake front home though I would be complaining about taxes! I hope to spend at least 3 months away during the winter...but have many years before I plan to retire.

B - Berries and a ham roll up

S - apple

L - Ham roll ups with cream cheese
