Topic: What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Good Tuesday Morning Gang. Yesterday was a super busy day at work. Day 1 of the outage is off to a good start. One new hire started yesterday and the other started today, so I'm doing onboarding with them this week.

Mother nature is all messed up this week. We are back into the 80's and by Friday morning we are supposed to have frost. I'll have to check and see what plants I need to cover since I'm still getting peppers and tomatoes. I'll have to pick the rest of my herbs and hang them to dry. I can't believe this year is almost over.

QOTD: Do you like explore unique and unusual things? I love going to explore old things. I'm taking Halloween off so Irvin and I can go to an underground prison that will filled with carved jack 0 lanterns. The prison was originally a copper mine in the early 1700's. When it closed the government of CT bought it and turned it into a prison. I'm actually really excited to go.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: eggplant parm

D: chicken burgers

Hitting the Y tonight

Have a great day everyone!!

Here's some bunny pictures.

Topic: 19 years today...

Hi all...Don't post much anymore.

19 years today...RNY. If I could, I would take a picture and post it. Hard for me to transfer stuff.

I am 217 today...Not bad not good.

I met with the cardiologist today...He is open to me using Wegovy.

I've had two heart attacks, double bypass, a stent...Those type of things.

For those new here...OH was a godsend at the time. The internet was limited. It was REALLY hard to find current information.

I am sure most bypass people have move on to other sites.

Take care...Brian

Hi, hope you had a good weekend. Our weather turned to Fall and it was a scramble to get as many of the veggies salvaged as possible. It has taken several days but all that is left out there are the peppers and they are under a frost blanket but can't wait long.

QOTD: My maternal Grandma. My mom wasn't a touchy-feelie kind of person and I got so much affection from my Grandma. I miss that woman every day. Mom too but in a different way, more like a pal.

It is totally soup weather here but awfully hard to eat when you are counting macros. Going to make hubby a pot of chicken and homemade noodles soup and will just have some broth before the noodles go in then get measured chicken from the freezer, Shiratake noodles and make just one portion. Not tomorrow...it will be a scramble day. Meeting up with out of town family while they are here for a funeral and then dashing to the surgeon's office for them to check my nose. It feels like cartilage has moved where it shouldn't and I'm having a hard time breathing from one side where there was never any problem before. Cross your fingers for me that it is nothing or just an easy fix.

I had two crashes Sunday from reactive hypoglycemia...it has been years since that happened. Tried to follow my usual schedule today and have been just fine.

See you late tomorrow.

B: My protein/collagen shake. Brrr

L: 5 Cashews (not hungry)

D: 1/2 c egg substitute, 2 Amylu breakfast sausages and 1 slice of Kraft American singles.

LS: May have a cup of Greek Yogurt to boost my protein.

Good Morning Gang. Thanks for starting us off Mel. I had to pick up a co-worker who dropped her car off for repairs and then took her to get a rental. Irvin and I got a lot done this past weekend and we are both tired. The baby bunnies are in their grow out coop. Half of the garden is broken down. He pulled a couple more trucks apart to junk.

QOTD: My SIL Rachel. She's always there when I need to talk about things.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: pork loin sandwich

D: toss salad with grilled chicken

Have a great day everyone!!

Thank you for doing that TNR! I wish all humans had humanity about all things other than just themselves.

Oh my goodness how I could snuggle that Chonk! We have one feral who looks that size but sadly she is long haired and badly matted because we are the Devil Incarnate and aren't allowed in her presence. She's still holding a grudge from her TNR ten or so years ago. I've always been terrible remembering numbers.

We don't have a trail cam but need one, we are having a new visitor to the feral's feeding station who is cleaning the food completely. I think it's a new racoon, we haven't seen any new ferals. Maybe it's a bear.

Hi! I've totally missed seeing what you've said about redoing the chairs at work. Are you re-doing the wood finish or re-upholstering the seats? My mom's dining room chairs really need to be redone but without Joann Fabrics now there isn't a place to buy the foam locally so I can feel the quality. If you're replacing cushions could you say where you got it?

It is a beautiful Fall day here with bright blue skies and crisp temps. So instead of working on putting the garden to sleep I'm going to sneak away to our nearest thrift store. The pair of pants I turned down now has possibilities in my mind so crossing fingers they're still there. I'm having fun upcycling garments.

QOTD: Nutritionix, a freebie that has been easy for this technophobe.

The scale still isn't moving. I'm projecting good thoughts and can just imagine stepping on it one morning and it will really move to make up for being sluggish now.

B: my protein/collagen shake. That is going to have to change soon because it makes me too cold.

L: not hungry

D: Hopefully the last serving of the beef cubelets and veggie 'soup'.

LS: The Problem Child. Maybe a cup of FF, SF Greek yogurt and a scoop of Fuzzy Navel again. That was really delicious yesterday and a good protein punch.

Have a great weekend, hope the weather is perfect for watching Mason's football.

That looks like my bear. Last night it was raccoons running through my yard, at least 2 possibly 3. Almost all of the intruders are animals.

I woke to my back aching so I sat in my recliner for a while with the heating pad. I got the job finished that I was working on, so I accomplished something.

QOTD- I used to use my Fitbit but I haven't tracked for a while. I need to get back into the habit.

Have a great day everyone!
