Fluid fight made me laugh. I imagined you and your mom filling up water balloons for your fight.

I have never been able to eat eggs after weight loss surgery. They are just too filling for me.

When I was younger I went to bed at 10:00 and slept until 6:00 AM almost every night. After I retired I started staying up until 4:00 AM and then sleeping until noon. Then I started a job that was an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM until midnight. I adjusted sleeping to those hours when I was not working.

When the getting up to pee started, that interrupped sleep every night. Now I sleep about three or four hours and then get up for a while and eat something, then sleep another few hours. If I don't sleep at night, I end up napping in the afternoons.

Sleeping eight hours is really something that we adapted to due to the industrial revolution and our peasant ancesters slept when I was dark and got up to take care of their animals in the early morning.

Good morning Jen and Menuers,

Oh, that fluid fight is real. I have to go over and fill her cups and pitchers with water and put them strategically where she sits the most to get her to drink anything other than pop scotch and Orange juice. It is a war I will never win. Tonight, Iam getting my hair cut and colored and at work I am stuck in meetings all day gearing up for the new system.

QOTD: Kinda but I do have to get up 2x to pee and some nights I have more night sweats that keep me awake.

Good morning, everybody!

I ended up skipping the eggs this morning, even after 6 1/2 years, I can only eat a bit of eggs. That is probably weird because I think they are recommended for soft foods stage.

I don't think that I mentioned this, but Marilyn's tennis team made it to Nationals. We will be going to Arizona in March to watch her play. It's the last weekend of the CrossFit Open, so I will need to find a gym out there to get judged at.

Today is kind of a long day, we have classes until 6:00, and a meeting from 7-9:00. But tomorrow is a pretty quick one and I fly home at 2:30.

QOTD: I usually wake up between 3-4, and try to fall back asleep. Sometimes it works, but sometimes I just climb out of bed at 5:00 and read. In general, I wish I slept better.

Breakfast: sausage and potatoes

Lunch: meatball sandwich

Dinner: meeting

Have a great day, all!

Good news about your mom that she is going to be released! Hopefully those others around her will step up too.

not much going on. We're going out with my aunt. I would rather stay home. I'm exhausted. I got a new mattress for my birthday from me. I made a sell and was able to get a cheap ish one that had great reviews and a coupon. So far it was good last night. It's an innerspring/hybrid type and I had an all memory foam one before. It had started breaking down and the cover started balling up. Now I need a new pillow and maybe a sheet set. Since it's a twin xl I it's not always easy to find the sheets I like. I need to clean my room too. Deep kind of clean.

i'm doing some boring chainmaille work for my boss. She needs some basic chains in certain lengths. I hate this but it's the money makers really for her. I'm about to run out of rings and there are more coming for these. I might be able to make my bracelet in between. I still might do a copper one though...

QOTD: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I do not sleep much. I sleep maybe 4 hours total. I do not laugh at the question but I am coming off a terrible night so I'm a tad bit punchy. Insomnia is killing me but I'm about to have my sleep aid upped. We'll see.

B: eggs, cheese and turkey sausage + coffee

L: prob a chicken tender and ??? We're going to golden chick.

D: veggie bowl I made last night! With chicken.

Lil Friday Eve you are here again. This week feels like it is dragging even with all the stuff going on.

My mom is supposed to be released today. It appears per the doctor that she had unprovoked VTE or more commonly know as Deep Vein Thrombosis. Apparently it can come on without warning. The doctor thinks her not getting the proper sleep for the last couple of months and sleeping in a chair because of one of the dogs always having to go out at night was the possible cause along with her not drinking enough fluids.

QOTD: Do you get a good nights sleep? I usually sleep 7-8 hours a night. Sometimes I get up for the dog, but not very often.

B: coffee and eggs with spinach and feta

L: going for some Chinese

D: liver and onions

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!
