Great news about your outage. So glad you are done with that and getting back to normal schedule. Asking where to send flowers to the "dead" sister was a brilliant move. Since you could not ask for proof of her death. It is so sad that people do not value their job, but I believe some of that has to do with mental issues.

I fell a few weeks ago and was going to start physical therapy this week, but they did another scan and I have fractured pelvis, so it will be staying off of my feet until it heals. When I went to the ER they said nothing was broken. The doctor could not figure out why there was so much pain, so he ordered a cat scan and that shows the fracture.

I was upset with myself for having pain, but now see that there is a reason for it. I am fortunate that my family is able to help with some of the things I have not been able to do. My sister is doing my cleaning, laundry, and taking the garbage out, and changing bag in litter robot. Just stopping in and checking on my helps a lot.

Mornin y'all!

Not sure what today'll hold. We had horrid wind yesterday and it's only supposed to be mildly better today but colder. I'm over spring already and it hasn't even begun.

my CGM is working well. My numbers are decent for the most part. I've had no highs and one low in a full day. My eating is better.

QOTD: I have the things to make em but the cats bothered it the first time I tried so I haven't tried again. I love sprouts! So so much! Only one place in town has them here and they are on the other side of town.

B: breakfast burrito and coffee

L: salad with chicken and yogurt dressing

D: I'm thinking shrimp of some kind. I have some I need to use up.

Happy Hump Day gang. Halfway through the week already.

We ended up being 14 hours ahead of schedule with boiler 1 outage. This is very good news since our Westchester plant has been down for 10 days so far due to some 480V power failure. They are working off of rental generators but are not able to process anywhere near the amount of trash they normally do. Hopefully they can get back up and running soon as they take the long tail from us that is brought in by Rand Whitney and we have a huge pile of it on the tipping floor like 5 trailer loads. That stuff takes up a lot of space.

Other than that not much going on. Two types of my peppers have germinated and are doing well. My hot cherry peppers on the other hand have not sprouted. Looks like I will have to plant some more from a different company and hopefully they sprout and grow.

QOTD: Has anyone ever tried to grow sprouts like Mung beans, radish, chickpeas? Since we eat bean sprouts and others a few times a week I have decided to try and grow them myself. It seems pretty easy and they are grown in mason jars with a special lid. I ordered the lids from amazon and they should be in today. I'll keep you all posted on how it works out.

B: coffee and egg, cheese, ham wrap

L: I might go get some tacos from the little food truck down the road

D: Salad with grilled chicken breast

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!

Had issues myself this morning.

today sucked! I just about had a breakdown in front of my NP at the pain clinic. Sometimes it's just to much. My pain levels have been off the charts. I really really try to not let it get to me. Of course there is nothing they are able or are willing to do. My lower back and esp my left lower flank just hurt so much. My shoulder is insanely bad. I just let it get to me...but it is what it is.

The wind here is insane again. Right now it's in the 40mph + sustained range. At midnight. Yuck. You can taste the dirt in the air. There is a lot of smallish fires burning. It's supposed to be windy Wednesday too but not as bad and from the north with a higher humidity.

I got my CGM working. The first sensor malfunctioned so I have a ticket into Dexcom. Hopefully they'll replace it without a problem.

Thats crazy about that guy lying about his sister. Then to be upset for getting the repercussions. FAFO as they say.

QOTD: um...I guess I'd choose to be an oblivious child. I don't remember a lot of my childhood so that'd be great I guess 5 or 6 and below.

Food was...

B: eggs, sausage and cheese + coffee

L: egg burrito

D: Parmesan crusted tilapia and popcorners.

S: half a slice of pizza and cheese

hope we all have a great Wednesday!

Good Evening! I'm glad you're running ahead of schedule with your workload this week. I did try and login this morning before I left for work and also could not access the site and didn't get a chance to pop back on until just now. Wow, lying about a death is horrible. Hopefully your company will fight a unemployment claim if he files.

QOTD: I think mid-30s.

Good afternoon menuers,

Just curious of the age of the now x employee. I don't know anyone in my generation that would turn down work. But I do know Ron would turn down overtime and I never understood it. If I can do anything to make or save a dime I am in.

QOTD: I think 33. Still young enough to not get iked for hanging out with 20-year-olds but old enough to hang with professionals and still get taken seriously. And I was making a bunch of money then too.

Accountability: I made the date bark and over ate it.

25 was great physically, but mentally I was still deciding what I wanted to do in life. My son was born right before I turned 25. I was sometimes overwhelmed with all the work of a new baby. I only took six weeks off of work and then went back full time while working out child care and a lot more housework and laundry.

I think I liked being over 30 better. I had my routines in place by then and felt relaxed and able to enjoy things more. I have twin sisters who are 63 and they are both in great health and able to do everything they want. I started to lose my strength at 70. I remember being at Cedar Point and having to rent a mobility scooter because I could not keep up with the walking.

That had the advantage that we were able to go the head of the line at the rides. I kept working out and did physical theraphy but never got the strength back that I had in my 60s.
