Morning gang. I got a bunch done yesterday, and a little already this morning. But I have a couple of checkups later, and JB should be on the early train. Otherwise it's pretty quiet here.
Food has been very much on plan, partly because I have no idea what our weekend eating will be like. What do they eat in Minnesota? And I don't think they are serving food at this wedding were attending. In which case I might bring a couple of big boxes of snacks from Costco and sell them.
I finally got a tentative date for the solar install, just over a month from now. It's right after we're having our old boiler and oil tank taken out and a new gas boiler installed. Busy month.
QOTD: I've never seen a whale. Not since the restraining order after I freed Willy.

Good morning ~ I slept like a baby last night, not to rub it in... but those 3 pounds you lost? I found them. My scale batteries were dead this morning and I had to replace them. 3 pounds up, WTF? And the app hasn't saved my data for that last 5 days. Argh, now I'm cranky. Yesterday was good. I solved a nightmare problem that had been haunting me. Today is more of the same starting with a CMS meeting first thing so I need to get cracking.
QOTD - Yes, we have grey and humpbacks off the coast we can see most of the time. I think certain times of the year they are more present. I've seen them up close when they invaded a local beach town harbor a few years ago in a feeding frenzy. They were so close it was incredible!!
Accountability - great on food, 17 active minutes and 6,361 steps - meh. Today I am 171.2 this is such a blow, no treadmill, but I am swimming today after work. Get it together girl.

I have an appointment today at 10. My mom is going to mow this morning before it heats up. Later today we might go get our hair cut. I'm going to get it all cut off. I need to work on chainmail a lot and I've been putting it off. I need to get my ass in gear. Pain levels are extremely high this morning. I wish I could stay in bed all day but it actually makes the pain worse. One reason I'm not sleeping much.

QJB- Congrats on the weight loss. It's a well earned reflection of your efforts. Glad your body got the memo and decided to catch up.
More of the same today. My sister is going to help me this morning with something I haven't been able to do on my own. It takes me forever to ask for help. This is despite knowing that the helping party will be happy to help and understanding. Stupid learned stubbornness and fake pride.
QOTD- I have never seen in a whale in person. I will swim with Whale Sharks in the future. They are 30ft long and weigh 26k lbs. Will that count?

So apparently, I sleep every other day, now? I have no idea. I slept sooo much on Sunday but last night was elusive. I just tossed and turned the entire time. I am not too tired (yet) though, so bring it on, Tuesday!
I am excited to report that the weight loss was "real" and not just dehydration from illness. I am truly excited that the stall is over and I can finally see some results paying off from the work.
QOTD: Have you ever seen whales? I have been on quite a few whale watches on the North Shore of Boston and I think I only saw whales twice. But when Maryann and I were in Maui we went on a boat and saw a ton of them!
Accountability: Yesterday's orientation food for breakfast & lunch was not even close to "on plan" so I skipped it and cobbled together a protein bar and nuts. I'm not going to count on eating there today and I will bring what I need.

QOTD- Carbs both salty and sweet.
You would think this far out from surgery I would know better. But Saturday afternoon I ate too much too fast and was in misery for the next 6 hours. Wanting to vomit, and get the horse off of my chest. I really thought I might be having a heart attack. Of course at the same time we had an extreme lightning and thunder storm. It rained so hard there were 2 places in my patio where it look like a spring was bubbling up from the ground. I've never seen that before. I hate thunder and lightning. Of course my roommate slept through it, he's like what storm?
So far the OTA DVR is not a hit. I tried to record the Seahawks game and only got the first 13 minutes, not sure if the storm had something to do with that or not. I'll try it again and if it doesn't work it will be going back. Of course it recorded the pregame show just fine...
I finally went to see Despicable Me 4, I think I was the only one in the theater. There were 2 people behind me but at the end of the movie they weren't there. I loved it, there are so many things that I think missed some of them and will watch it again when it's streaming. Next up is Deadpool and Wolverine.
I need to schedule a bone density test and another vitamin D test to see if the level has gone down any.

Sorry you had a rough day yesterday and hope today is much better. I ate ice cream everyday and let it melt some so I could eat it faster. I also ate lot of pasta and thought it was the right thing because I was avoiding fat. Also a lot of cookies, cake, candy, which I mostly ate in secret because I did not want anyone to see a fat lady eating a candy bar. At parties, I tried to sit near another person who was overweight and together we could avoid the treats.

Good morning. No workout for me today. My back won't handle it. So hoping for a walk to help stretch things out. They gave me Tramadol, and I'm hoping to not have to use that in the daytime. I think it's time to go back to the orthopedic surgeon and see what's up. Been trying to avoid that.
I had a great weekend on accountability food and beverage wise. Great on movement Saturday. Slug on Sunday.
Today I have a short list of stores to visit and get prepped. We are taking the rig out to a local reservoir tomorrow for a few days just to shake out the cobwebs and get all the systems running. 10 minutes from home and easy peasy.
QoTD: Mostly savory. Occasionally caramel popcorn. For years I called my left thigh french fries and my right thigh chardonnay. But even when I cut all those things out completely for the last year, I was still gaining.
