That reminded me. A couple of days ago I drove by some kids with what looked like a lemonade stand. I hadn't seen that in a very long time. When I drove by them a second time, I noticed what they were selling. It looked like they bought a couple of really big cases of M&Ms, and were selling the individual packs. I've never seen that before.

Not much going on here. I have finally got my little girl to go out the cat door. She is willing to come in it, but doesn't like going out so I finally held it open and she went out. That is a win! This is the same cat door that doesn't recognize their chips so I just use tape to keep it open. But at least I can get it to lock when I don't want them going out. Other than that I wish I hadn't wasted the time and money on it.
We have an air quality alert today, high ozone and smoke from the fires. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm looking forward to the rain.

Oh Jen, I did something like that for DH for his 30th bday at his office and he never let me forget it. It was a small office, startup. I ordered a belly dancer. Didn't hear anything so called the office. The receptionist picked up the phone and I could hear everybody laughing. So I thought I did great. DH called me afterward and said thanks but if you ever do this to me again we won't be married anymore. I heard from the receptionist that the belly dancer was too touchy and was all over DH while he had turned beet red. All the guys at the office totally enjoyed my present to DH.

JB - wishing you a very happy birthday in the new decade, and very happy you get to spend it with your dad. As we say in Italy "Sei come il buon vino, più invecchi, più migliori!" You are like a good wine, the older you get the better you get.
We have a concrete person coming today to talk about the driveway. The guy who was working on our side recommended him. Not sure but when somebody gets too pushy I back off and don't wanna do it. The original guy is too pushy that we have to use his guy if we wanna do the driveway. We'll see today and DH has given me the veto power. We figured out when we did a huge remodel 12-15 years ago we need to decide before hand who has the veto power on each project. Otherwise sparks will fly.
QOTD - I have no recollection of my 21st bday, maybe because for us 21 and being able to drink legally was not a thing. I know I was in college and living in Venice. I vividly remember my 25th because I remember thinking holy moly that's a 1/4 of a century.

The Brown derby had the best Langostinos. We ate there all the time in the 70's. There were not that many steak houses beside that when we grew up.

I've seen surfers with their wetsuits at the beach. They have a long strap attached to the back zipper so they can reach to pull the zipper up/down on their own. Maybe that would help?
