G'morning all!
I am so ready to do some shenanigans! I feel after a couple of weeks of living "demurely and considerate" I need to let loose and do some shenanigans.
Did anybody watch the DNC last night? When Michelle O'bama walked on stage I got teary eyed before she even started. I sure miss that couple at the White House. She also sent some zingers to the Orange one that were spot on.
QOTD - i do my food shoppings in person at the stores, the rest is all online. Infact when I was in SD visiting my son, I went to a mall (just to kill time) and I was totally overwhelmed when I walked into one of my favorite stores where I usually shop online. I even got on my phone to look at the selections online because there was just too much and too many sizes in front of me.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Tuna, hb eggs, quest chips
- Cherries, jerky
- Protein icecream - coconut
- E: strength training
Happy hump day!

Good morning! Wow was it hot when arrived at the campsite. Getting loaded up is hard work and we were already sweating when we got here. The a/c's could not catch up for hours. We took the dogs on a very short walk and then I had such a heat headache I needed to lay down. I was on the bed right under the air conditioner and woke up about 20 minutes later a whole new girl. We had a fun charcuterie board and a nice glass of wine for dinner and watched the Obama's speak. Lots of conversation and early to bed. 12 minutes of exercise seems unfair considering how many times I was running up and down steps hauling stuff to the rig. 7430 steps. Today should be so much better. The heat is dropping and the a/c's are already going so they can stay ahead.
Today the big plan is book club and dinner by the camp fire. And my back is even a bit better today so I'm positive I'm going in the right direction!
QoTD: I'm 85% in person. I like to have things to do to keep me moving. I like looking at all the options. I like touching all the stuff.

QOTD- I've gone to mostly online. Instacart and Walmart for my groceries and Amazon for the rest. I wish TJ's was on Instacart, I loved it when I could walk across the street to TJ's, but I hated that apartment.
I can't believe how dark it is in the morning now. I can feel winter is coming. The forecast is showing rain for the rest of the week, but it's not really rain it's more like mist. Not enough so that I don't have to water.
There are 3 houses in my neighborhood for sale, all of them priced much higher than I would have thought. I don't know if that means my house is worth more, but probably. I'm not sure what I will do, I guess it depends on when my roommate moves out. I won't need all of this space and would love to have a one story house and stay in this neighborhood. Do I really need a dedicated office when I am no longer working from home? I kick myself for moving to Maui, but I can't fix it just move forward.
Have a great day everyone!

My roommates shoes are size 16 so the only place he can find them that are not wide is the big & tall shops. So I feel your pain.

I'm glad your bloodwork came back good, I'm always anxious since for so many years it was bad.
Good Morning! Yay, glad you made it to the game and for more scale success. We were able to get payroll out at a decent time so the hard/extra work was at least worth it. The rest of the week is filled with meetings and some trainings I need to do.
QOTD: John usually handles the weekly grocery trip and occasionally we do an Instacart order but I do like to browse through Homegoods and of course I have to make my Trader Joe's trips.

Good morning, everybody!
I was up early yesterday and off to the airport to get my Global Entry done. It was fairly painless, but I seemed to be out and about all day long and never got back to post, or even read. I think that I have an email saying whether I qualified or not. I will go back and read yesterday's thread to see what I missed.
Marilyn is in Alabama. She left bright and early and made it from Chicago to Birmingham by 3:30. She took my youngest's car down and checked in on his apartment. She gets back at about 9:30 tonight and I will pick her up at the airport.
Yesterday was the last weekday that the neighboring town's pool (actually it's a quarry, which is why it's considered open water) is open. So that brings my swim preparation to a conclusion. Today I will go to Crossfit open gym and actually do tomorrow's class because it has a lot of running, which will add a bit of last minute prep for Sunday. Then it's three rest days. I received my swim start time for Sunday. My age group will start at 9:10 CST on Sunday.
QOTD: About half and half. We get groceries in person.
Breakfast: Corned Beef Hash
Lunch: Roast Beef
Dinner: TBD, maybe I will take the boys out
Have a great day, all!
