Good Morning Queen JB and menuers,
So busy lately and just trying to get my act together but nothing seems to be working. First of all, my toe is definitely broken (ortho x-rayed again and clearly broken) so I am not to do anything to disrupt the healing at this point. I know I could be doing more when it comes to exercise like squats, crunches leg flutters. There is a lot I can be doing without putting a ton of pleasure on my foot, but my mind is not in the mood to lose weight or be healthy. I got to get back on track and I have a plan but implementing it is going to be the tricky part. I will be released on the 27th to be out of the stabilizing shoe but I want to get my weight down without exercise in the meantime. I am so over being fat again but finding it hard giving up dinners out and bourbon. It makes life so much easier. I am not on the Alcoholic train. It may be 3-5 drinks a week, but it definitely shows on the scale, and I need to knock it off.
QOTD: DO NOT UNBLOCK HER! If you do I will never post again.
QOTDII: Yes, every day. It is a bad habit I cannot break. I have tried and failed more than once. I also do fiber with it.

I got it from Amazon, yes it's one of the bungee pole kits. It just helps me stretch. I try and stick with upper body one day, lower body another day.
Mornin' All!
one more day of this packed two-week period and things should lighten up quite a bit. I'm really behind on classes, though - ugh. At least I'm not being graded..
Lots of interesting talks and interviews in town this week. I've seen Nancy Pelosi and Doris Kearns Goodwin. Tomorrow there's Liz Cheney - but Kamala Harris is also in town, at the same time - cripes. Although given we're a swing state, Harris is likely to come back before the election, so I guess I'll go see Cheney. Saturday is Heather Cox Richardson. Looking forward to all of this!!
QOTD1: yea I just logged in after being gone for a couple of days and noticed she has some posts on the DS forum. I'd say continue to block her. It doesn't take long before she spirals out of control again.
QOTD2: yes I still take it. I occasionally try to get off, but after a few days my intestines start feeling like they're full of cement again. I wish there was another answer (I take magnesium every day, too)
coffee with half & half
protein pancakes topped with plain skyr and strawberry compote
protein shake
I'd really love to have lunch in the building across the street from my class (I recently discovered they serve Indian food!), but I'm feeling super bloated. Probably better to have something here before I go. Maybe just a protein pumpkin muffin
protein bar (?)
maybe vegetarian taco filling with tomatoes, plain skyr and salsa for dinner
have a great day, everyone!

Pilates bar, tell me about this? Is it one of those bungy-pole equipment I've seen or is it a Pilates+barre class? I did pure barre once at my heaviest and thought I was going to die. My two girlfriends who were more slender also thought they were going to die so I don't think it was just me, lol

Good Morning on this Friday-Eve! Yesterday really should have been Thursday. Good luck with the busy today, 7 month already?!? Wow time flies. Should be a typical work day before the chaos of payroll distribution day tomorrow. I've been forgetting to mention that I started listening to a podcast last week during my drive (yeah, I'm late to the podcast game- lol) and I'm almost done with Scamanda, has alone else listened to that one?
I don't miss the stories and do appreciate you starting us off- thank you!
QOTD: I was until maybe a year ago when I switched over to the fiber everyone tried at the conference and I get through Chrissy (thank you!). For me personally I feel less gassy and bloated than before.

Good morning, everybody!
My obscure send-out bloodwork has been trickling in the last few days. Everyone will be relieved to know that my copper levels are normal.
We leave for the airport in about an hour and a half. Our friends have already started their travel and we will see them in Bangkok in about 28 hours.
Yesterday I got an email that I have an Illinois Society of CPA's training requirement due on 9/30/24. It is a once in three year course that has a name very similar to a State of Illinois course that I have to do every year. So, I thought I already did it. Nope. Got up at 5:00 AM this morning and banged the course out. I have just a few things to pack and one work thing and then i'm ready to go.
QOTD: I stopped taking Miralax about 20 months ago. As a general rule, as long as my fluid intake is good, I don't need it. Sometimes that requires three 18 ounce flavored waters within a relatively short time. I still carry Miralax in my travel bag. Old habits die hard, I guess.
No idea about food, other than that I will eat some as I often do. We should be able to have a sit down meal at the airport before we take off. I will try and lift in the hotel gyms but leaving cardio to the touristy hikes and bike rides. I probably won't post until October 8th, so wishing everyone a joyous start to decorative gourd season!
