QOTD- I'm having to rethink my retirement plans. I was hoping to go right after I start SS but that isn't happening. Unless the interest rates go down and I can refinance my house.

I was supposed to have a mammogram today but just found out the place I have been going for the last 17 years is now out of network. It's a good thing that I called so now I need to find another place for my mammogram. I hate this. Mammograms send me off the deep end anyway, don't want to have another round of breast cancer.

So I need to do some research and then get back to work. I'm behind on my jobs, I have one that was due yesterday and I just started it today.

Have a great day everyone!

UPDATE-I found a place to do the mammogram that my insurance covers. They also had a cancellation so I see them tomorrow at 10AM. It's a much smaller place and it's all that they do, so I think it will be a good fit and less stressful for me.

Ah, sorry to hear that. I have to admit I am glad my job only revolves around myself. I could never do what you do. Hang in there. You are shaking things up for the better. Be patient you will get there.

Good morning! It's packing up day. One more meal to cook and loads to pack and the littles are off for home. Wheeeeeee. Or Boo. On the fence. Then we need to deep clean this house. 2 littles, the huge dogs, 2 adults. Scrubbing indeed.

Yesterday was all in the car or at appointments. 6800 steps. 10 flights of stairs. Zero intentional excercise. Excellent food choices were made and I'm feeling good this morning.

QoTD: No I am not. I've worked hard, made mistakes, made glorious decisions, embraced the journey and feel well set and and suited for the life ahead of me. It's like my wrinkles, I earned every one and the future was hard earned and is exciting.

Bites today

B: send off breakfast. Sausage is cooking. Bacon is next. (one likes sausage, one likes bacon) cheese shell tortillas and svcrambled eggs.

L: TBD Fridge cleaning is happening today

D: also TBD, though I would love to run to the market and get a nice piece of fresh fish to make with lemon and miso.

Peace everybody!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

So glad things went well for Grim. Sorry you're struggling with the business. I hope you can come to a happy medium to make it work. Maybe a scaled down version. I know how much you love it, and it would suck to have to give it up completely. You got this you'll figure it out for sure. You always do.

Today I get a pedicure at lunch, and I got a lot of packing to do. I prefer trips that I need to fly to. It so much easier when you only have room for 40lbs. We are staying at a VRBO and have to haul everything with us. Even beach chairs and umbrellas. I also have a ton of food premade, so I just have to throw it in the oven.

QOTD: I basically feel like a prisoner to my mother right now in life so there are no life decisions or goals at this time. She will be 86 next week. So, my guess is somewhere in the next 14 years I'll be able to focus on those types of things again. For now, it is just steady as she goes.

Accountability: I had 2 pieces of Detroit style pizza. Normally I am not a pizza person but now we can get Detroit pizza here and someone dropped it off at my house knowing I love it I splurged and completely regret it today.

I have not done the shockwave but I had a lot of benefit from the dry needling with the electricity. I did have a friend that did like 6 session of the shock thing for his sciatica and an Achilles tendon issue and it helped. I think he said it's a very common pre surgery intervention in Europe but just starting here

I am glad you are through the testing phase and now know your guardrails and can focus on the habit stacking while getting the support from wegovey! You can do this, you've done lots of hard things successfully.

Another busy day here but I will be ending it with dinner with some friends so that's something to look forward to! I got out and got my exercise in, enjoyed seeing Mars and Jupiter (Teenie, pictures below so you can show Ron and he doesn't wake you up to see them Before dawn tomorrow:-) tomorrow they are supposed to appear the closest it might be cloudy then!

Qotd - no, I'm pretty content with my choices these days. Sounds like you have some tough decisions ahead but I am confident you will make the right choice for yourself..and if you decide differently later, you can always choose again! Good luck!

menu today

coffee plus half and half x3

yogurt

Tbd on lunch, I have a few left overs to choose from

dinner - thinking I could make a meal of the burrata and Parmesan fries. Not a good meal but a meal nonetheless. Will probably go with the hot chicken sandwich instead.

have a great day!
