Sounds like you came back from vacation as I did. I got a burn from the oven rack on my wrist. I have a smashed finger and cut on my left middle finger from a broken beach chair, I have a pain in my neck and back from passing out in a crazy position on my last night of vacation. I also ended up with a broken middle toe on my right foot after doing laundry at my moms and kicking a stand that wasn't there before I left for vacation. But I have not missed a beat still coming to work dog walking and mom duty and cooking meals and living life. I wish I had a break but at least there is a long weekend coming up.
Vacation was awesome and I was able to run the board walk every day. 4.5 miles I was killing it but now I have a broken toe I got to take another break because I cannot get a shoe on. GRRRR

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

It's not all pink and roses. We've had our difficulties and tons of cultural clashes, especially at the beginning. But I admit we are a good match for each other.
I've been to Peru but not to Machu Picchu, I CANNOT wait to see it.

Your post today made me get tears in my eyes. What a beautiful love story you have experienced with your husband. You have had so much love and so many wonderful experiences. My cousin's wife grew up in Peru. They go there every few summers. They are both hikers, but not as ambitious as you. I know they did hike to Machu Picchu once. Thanks for sharing your story today.

I've been doing the Asian version w/out the sesame oil - it just takes over the whole thing. Soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, garlic, chili flakes, ginger and splenda. It's addictive! I keep seeing tons of different ones, but have not seen yours! I will give that a try, I know I would like it.

There are so many variations. Which one you do? I follow this woman called Shereen and she did it with feta, olive oil and vinegar that was more to my liking than the sesame oil and soy sauce version.

Good morning!
I did great yesterday. Ended my day with 69 minutes of exercise and 11,882 steps. I did really well on food and was actually able to convince myself at 9:30 last night that I did not need more food. No matter how my stomach rumbled and complained.
Today I am getting my ass to a work out class. Need to get back on schedule. I'm doing the treadmill for steps first and then the Forever Fit workout class which is sort of like Zumba, sort of like bar bell weight workout. I am skipping yoga again because I do not want to regress on my progress with my back.
QotD: water, water and more water. Wine if I am being misbehaved. Maybe one diet root beer a month.
