I remember you! Welcome back. I'm glad to see that you're doing well. I highly recommend the proferrin iron also.

Good mornin everyone!

The only thing planned for the day is grocery shopping. It's only supposed to get to 68° today and I am so so glad about it! I am tired of heat. So so soooo tired of it.

QOTD: what's ahead for the week?

the only thing I've got going on is a dentist appointment on Wednesday. I might have one Thursday with my peer support but I'm not sure. I need to go to the post office sometime this week too.

B: eggs and coffee

L: spaghetti, very little noodles and heavy on meat & sauce.

D: ????

Welcome back. I highly recommend you looking into Proferrin Iron supplement. It has done wonders for many of us. Amazon sells it.

I have no idea why I decided to come on here and post an update. This page was my OBSESSION before and after surgery. I started at 317 in 2010 and have been sitting comfortably between 145-150 since 2012. I still have constant food noise and my appetite and portion sizes are 100% that of a normal person. All my labs are normal except iron. This really is a tool and you have to make permenant lifestyle changes for it to work long term. I am still very grateful for where I am now.

Here is a pic of pre op 2010

Good luck everyone!

Good morning all,

It's a beautiful day to be alive! The weather is amazing this morning. I sat outside on the deck with a big mug of coffee and a lox & bagel. A perfect way to start the day.

However, we have rain moving in tonight and it will rain on Riot Fest's parade tomorrow. I'm not physically up to trudging through the mud, even though the mud makes everything spectacular. I'll be watching the Riot Fest Livestream instead.

QOTD-instant happen happiness occurs when I think about how many things I'm grateful for. I get elated when I think about really special memories and travel.

B: Lox & Bagel, tangerine, 96oz coffee.

L: something on the grill

D: sushi.

S: Cheddar cheese popcorn and an ice cream sandwich.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good morning!

It's going to be a real nice day today and I'm here for all of it!!!

Yesterday was good. Lots of exercise, really choices on food. All water, all day. Added one piece of See's candy and savored the hell out of it. 159 minutes of exercise, 10,231 steps and 704 extra "move" calories burned. I also found the new sweater blazer I have had my eye on on sale, and got it for over 50% off. Good stuff.

Today is a walk for sure. I've been moving every day this week except Wednesday. Need to hit today and tomorrow to surpass my goal. No weights, no hard work out. Just movement today and tomorrow. One of our besties is coming to town today and I've set up 90 minute foot and leg massages for the three of us, followed by stopping for tacos and taking them home for a glass of wine and cards for the evening. Pretty much a perfect day in my book.

QoTD: I find joy everywhere. Currently, it's the fall themed situation we have going on in our house. I walk out every morning and just smile when I see it.

Bites today...

B: egg and bacon

L: leftover veal and sweet potatoes

D: a hot, crispy, crunch, salty taco. A few bites of refried beans. A glass of wine.

Peace everybody!

Good morning ~ It was busy at work yesterday - things come up but I was able to get enough done at work yesterday to leave with a good conscience. I didn't end up meeting my son for lunch, but he's coming over tomorrow anyway so I ran all my errands and grocery shopping - we are all stocked up. Today is assembling furniture! To be fair, for the ottoman is was just the legs, I'm hoping that is the extent of the rest, but who knows since it's a sectional. We received 6 of 7 boxes. The last box was suppose be delivered yesterday and was in So Cal, but when I checked on it last night, it was in Vegas!? Oops! someone made a mistake or my couch really wanted one last party before going to his forever home. Anyway it is supposed to arrive today. I'm hoping the assemble/clean/move are simple enough and that a divorce is not necessary. Otherwise, college football is on, I have a millions things I want to do around here, plus shopping for the perfect throw pillows - woohoo!

QOTD - My loves - Rob, Jess, Chloe and Bubs, my family, dear friends, memories, laughing and all the silly things are a reminder that life is good and I am blessed. And the bag of ZERO Jolly ranchers I found yesterday in tropical flavors! Fruit punch, lime, mango and pineapple - stunning, all of them. Don't eat too many at one time like I did though - you'll regret it.

Accountability - Okay on food, I made it work. 41 active minutes, only 7,805 steps. Today I am 167.6 and it will be a busy day!

B- coffee, protein cereal w/protein shake

l - buffalo chicken w/blue cheese, pickles and celery

d- 96/4 grilled burger, zero tortilla bun with all the toppings

s - Yasso bar, cuties, apple

Have a great day!!

Good Saturday mornin!

Not just a whole lot planned for the day. We have Rachel today for a good part of it, I need to finish a pendant and some other various chainmaille things. Yesterday ended up being rather stressful thanks to my mom. My eye specialist appointment was moved to the week of thanksgiving.

We got up to 100° day before yesterday and tomorrow we're supposed to be 67°. Yet some claim climate change isn't real.... We're under a flood watch starting this afternoon. I saw M&M's new flavor is peanut butter and jelly.

QOTD: what is something that you just have to look at or thinkin about to make you feel happy?

I have one of those ribbon photo boards that's full of drawings from the kids, pictures of my favorite people, pics of my late cats and my ribbons from the tri-state fair. It's my daily reminder that I am loved, that I love and good memories.

B: eggs and coffee

L: ????

D: chicken and some veggie.

Have a great one!

Hi Watson - nice to meet U ! Congratulations on all your achievements so far !

I found excess skin surgery to be such a relief and reward for my diet discipline and exercise

. It truly changes your life because you're permanently a changed much more attractive person ( at least to most folks and myself in my case )

I still have to do my upper body skin removal ( I had a belt lipectomy ( lower body lift ) arm lift and thigh lift years ago . Hugs and welcome to the forum ! Ava
