QOTD- The Twilight Zone gave me nightmares as a kid, but I still watched it.
I did go to the Flock and Fiber Festival but was disappointed. It was basically the same stuff in all of the booths. Nothing that I needed or that inspired me. I did get to pet the sheep, goats, and alpacas. I didn't buy anything and ended up in a traffic jam on I-5 on the way home. Not sure what that was about, but both sides were slow. At least I got out of the house.
My roommate had a woman over last night, I'm not sure if she is still here or not. It always makes me uncomfortable. He did some cleaning but I don't feel like this place is presentable. And his room is usually a disaster and smells bad. I have no idea what you can do about it. I just keep hoping he will find a woman that he can move in with.
I need to get back to work.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning ~ The weekend didn't work out like I planned, it was pretty lazy compared to all my plans. I keep doing that, taking weeks to do what should just take a day. I just don't wanna do it all. Anyway, the couch is assembled except the end arm hardwear debacle. They won't/don't line up for some reason so I'm calling cust service today. I should have paid for assembly - next time for sure. Beyond that near divorce problem, I had a nice weekend. Today I have a Dr appt this morning, then I hit the ground running at work for the rest of the month - the usual.
QOTD - Wizard of Oz when I was very little - of course, but the real haunting fears started with Salem's Lot when I was around 8-10. That vampire floating outside the window - omg. I wasn't until about 8 years ago that Rob convinced me to watch the Shining that I realized I had nothing to fear. I watched Salem's Lot eventually and was shocked at how fake and campy it was because it had me so scared for decades! I now worship Stephen King. Still working on reading through his entire library. Psychological thrillers are my favorite.
Accountability - Impulsive pizza order when DS was over yesterday threw me into f*it mode. Why? I could have easily rolled with toppings and side salad but I didn't. 2 active minutes and 7,576 steps. Today I'm 169.2 (yuck) and I have 30 minutes done of the treadmill.
B- coffee, protein shake
l - chicken w/spanish cauli rice w/greek yogurt and salsa
d- chicken and salad
s- melon, nectarine, jerky
Have a great day!

Good Morning! I hope you have your ho****er back, and of course that you keep the electricity! The weekend was decent with a low key day yesterday since John wasn't feeling great after our booster shots Saturday (he routinely gets body aches/fever after the Covid shot). We watched If last night which was a nice way to close out the weekend.
QOTD: I didn't like scary movies growing up (still aren't my favorite) and I remember being at a slumber party and they were watching children of the corn, I went and played board games in the other room with the others that didn't want to watch.
TSS: 10 years 1 month
B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal, turkey sausage, and an orange
L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, light and fit yogurt and some fruit
S: Mixed nuts, a piece of fruit and yogurt
D: maybe breakfast?
ES: Protein ice cream and carbmaster toast
E: 1/2 hour elliptical and 20 mins Pilates bar
V/W: On track
Totals: TBD
Have a great day!
Good morning queen and everyone else! We made it to Monday. I had a super productive weekend that didn't feel like a weekend lol. I hoped my ex get unpacked and get the kids' rooms situated. Then I did a TON of packing and sorting and box taping. I'm paying my cleaning ladies to come help pack tomorrow since my move date is still not final and I don't want to be in a frantic rush. We were in this house for almost 8 years and I forgot that MOVING SUCKS!
Not having ho****er sucks too! I really hope they come today ð?'? Sometimes the app HotelTonight has good options. If it's still an app (haven't used it in a long time)!
QOTD: I'm not a scary movie person at all I've never seen most scary movies. I don't recall one being worse than the others!
I treated myself and got Dungeness crab at Costco. It took me a good hour to break the clusters and claws down. I use a cracker and a utility knife and a little poke tool. Damn it's labor intensive. But sooooo worth it. I have at least a pound of crab meat and for $40. I'll have it for like 7 meals this week.
Meals today: crab, turkey and havarti, crab.
Have a wonderful day!

Good mornin everyone and happy Monday! Hoping things work out for you and Grim today. Hopefully you'll not need the hotel.
Nothing much happening today. We got almost 2 inches of rain over the weekend and it's in the 40°+ range this morning. I love this weather. We're supposed to be 77° today but that's still in the nice category my shoulder is killing me this morning. Hopefully I'll be hearing from a couple of places today. If not I'll be starting phone calls tomorrow. I may run to the post office today but it may have to wait until Wednesday.
QOTD: Jurassic Park. I thought the thunder was the dinosaurs walking close to us at night. LOL. It didn't last long but at first I was a little scared.
B: eggs, cheese and coffee
L: pizza stick things and a small salad
D: leftover spaghetti with very little noodles

Good morning, I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We're off to take the cats to the vet this morning, and solar installation starts today, too. We still don't have ho****er from the new gas burner install last week, even though they promised the hook up would be done this weekend. It's not exactly like living in prairie times but I am still over it. If we don't have ho****er by tonight I hope I can find an inexpensive hotel nearby. And if we don't have electricity, either, I won't care how expensive the hotel is!
QOTD: What movie or show scared you as a kid? I went to a sleepover in 5th grade where they showed the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and basically I still sleep with the lights on. Meanwhile, Grim's daughter is still traumatized by E.T. We are not the same.
I don't have a good plan for food today. I need to clean out the fridge and see what's available.

I like the way you think - "nothing at the snack bar is going to feel good in my stomach" - truer words!

Hi Ava - nice to meet you too! Thank you!
I bet, I was there once about 13 years ago on that.
I believe that.
I wish you luck on your journey. I would like to get at some point in time and arm lift and my thighs worked on. Thank you for the hugs and welcoming me to the forum, Ava!

Good morning! Nice day yesterday. Lots of downtime followed by a massage, a taco, a glass of wine and a mean game of Phase 10. But I lost at the game. Not a bad way to spend a day. Got in a walk as planned. 54 minutes of exercise, 10,299 steps.
Today is an easy morning, followed by hours and hours at the softball field for a double header and then home to clean up and a nice dinner out with a friend. Family, friends, food. Maybe I'll walk today.
QoTD: lots of work outs planned, lunch with friends and dinner on Friday with a friend we only see every few years.
bites today
B: carnitas in zero carb tortilla x 2
L: unsure. I will probably pack jerky and cheddar crackers because nothing at the snack bar is going to feel good in my stomach
D: Dinner out, Tapas restaurant. So I will have little bites of everything that comes to the table.
Peace

Good morning ~ Good day yesterday! Got most of living room put together. The final box didn't arrive until late and we were already enjoying our new set up, so that will get done this morning. We love it! I shopped for pillows, blankets and curtains. I looked at rugs, but I really like the one we have which why I chose a blue couch in the first place. That, and we are floor to ceiling, wall to wall beige up in here. I found a backup rug in case I change my mind, also with blue design. Lots more to do today - I haven't touched my closet/exercise room job - it's a mess. Kiddo is supposed to come over and help with the garage later. I don't know if I'll get my car back in there.
QOTD - I have a doctor appt tomorrow that I've been waiting on for months, and the usual work schedule and end of the month deadline of reports at work. I was supposed to travel Th/F to a regional meeting, but I don't have the time so I will zoom instead. It's not the same as being in the room at all.
Accountability - food perfect but add wine x 2. 6 active minutes and even though I was on my feet all day, only 8,080 steps. Today I'm 167.6 again. No planned exercise but I'll be busy all day.
B- coffee, eggbeater and cheese wrap
l - chicken salad with finn crisp crackers and celery sticks
d - chili dogs
s- watermelon/honeydew, jerkyx2
Have a great day!
