Morning gang. Thanks for starting us, Jim. Nice, boring routine here. I love it. Food is on track. One more week til Christmas splurge.
This weekend is going to be cold. The low temp is supposed to be 6 degrees. My SIL is freaking out about her chickens.
QOTD: I like snow better than I used to. For many years I was responsible for shoveling four driveways. Being down to one is nice. And we're getting less snow these days too.

Good morning, everyone!
Today is my last train ride for 2024. I will go into the office tomorrow and Monday, but I'm driving both days: Monday because I will take DD to the airport after work and tomorrow because I have to get home early for a Christmas Party.
This is going to be a fairly regular day with calls and meetings, but I think that it will start winding down tomorrow. I expect Monday to be very quiet.
QOTD: Do you like snow? I love it at first, but I am ready for summer after a couple of weeks.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: catered
Dinner: meatballs
Have a great day, all!

Good Afternoon! I hope you weren't hurt in the accident. You have some crazy drivers from what I hear (not you, of course). Somewhat of a busy day and then tomorrow and Friday are payroll days so they'll fly by.
QOTD: I think the secret of life but I might pick fountain of youth on a different day.

Have a great day!
When I retired back in 2010 the company sent me to a career planning workshop. It was about four to six weeks of sessions. It was meant to explore options and things you might want to do when you now longer had the day to day routine of your job. Retirement is a big change and an opportunity to do things you might have put off or never tried.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning, Matt and everybody!
I'm back from swimming. They were doing a half price sale for the two holiday weeks, but I told the coach that I was just going to take them off. I want to sleep in on my break. I will still go to Crossfit, but just at more leisurely hours. Concur with Matt on the reasonable weather here in Chicago. Didn't have to scrape my windshield, just turned on the blower and the wipers and made it out of the driveway.
A couple of weeks ago, I got the first notice about my transition to retirement. It didn't really require any affirmative acts on my part, but it was kind of exciting nonetheless. One of the things that i am supposed to be thinking about is what I am going to do in my "next act." I'm not sure that I want to anything that even remotely resembles a job, so it may not be much of an act.
Happy Hour tonight with our new charcuterie. Yum! After this week, we are going to take a couple off for the holidays and then switch to Google Meet. Hopefully that works well.
QOTD: I think that I would want to have the fountain of youth. I worry that there is no secret or that I would learn and it would still be my time, so i couldn't use the knowledge.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: Jersy mike's
Dinner: meatballs, charcuterie later
have a great day, all!

Good mornin y'all!
a few things to do away from the house today. Not a lot though. I got a lot done yesterday. Vacuumed and cleaned a bit. Washed some stuff. I need to get busy and make some stuff. No dead line for those...just helps keep me busy. I'll attach what I'm making at the end.
We'll have the kids most of Friday s they get out of school early for their Christmas break. My brothers MIL is holding their Christmas so my brother can't go. It's really hurt my SIL's feelings a lot. Rightfully so. They've always made it clear Cory is not good enough. Even with all his faults he is a good guy, he has always tried to accommodate their **** and it hasn't done a thing. Jess's sister is really a witch with a b. She told my SIL that he would cheat on her the first chance he got. Only because that's what she does. Anyways. It's just really sad for Jess. And her mother wonders why she's so distant. They aren't perfect by any means (like us all) but I'd rather be around my brother and Jess any day over that crowd. My brother doesn't mind not getting to go(he is working till 9 that night and he can't get it off...he is head of security at a retail place). But he is bothered for Jess.

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day,
It's very warm here in Chicago. 35 degrees today means no sticking snow.
It's the type of day where you bask in the winter sun.
I got into another car accident yesterday. A guy drove into my car as my car traversed the intersection. I tried to veer out of the way but...
QOTD- Would you rather have the secret of life or the fountain of youth and why?
I'd rather have the secret of life. I don't know how I would use that information.

Good Afternoon! I am struggling to find a good time to set aside time to post before it's the end of the day. Enjoy the time off! I'm at the dentist getting some more work done and then probably 2 more visits at the beginning of the year and hopefully just routine cleanings for awhile after this!
QOTD: I also think the drones are some part of the government.

I recommend you the book "The Complete Guide to Weight Loss Surgery" by Rebecca S. Sadler. It is a modern and detailed guide. I always tell everyone that it is important to remember that trying to lose weight on your own without professional help can lead to undesirable consequences. I am currently writing a paper for the university, and one of my points is dedicated to the importance of the support of qualified specialists when losing weight. I also found a nursing paper writing service, used https://ca.edubirdie.com/nursing-paper-writing-service for help. Your coach or specialist should be your main assistants in this process. Do not risk doing it without their help.
