I couldn't eat bananas for a couple of years after surgery - way too cloying. I can eat them now, though - but they can't be overly ripe - way too sweet then.
we saw that lying Buddha when we were in Bangkok!
I hope I didnt offend with yesterday?s honest post - in any case
I lived to argue my Show of Cause another day ( next Thursday).
The oppositions attorney showed up with -count em - FOUR overpaid associates to witness his decimating of a legally undefended older and physically challenged person.
The B was SO sure of his victory that he asked for a warrant of eviction from the Marshall BEFORE the scheduled lhearing !! Unbelievable!
I did kind of put the kibosh on his plans by requesting an interpreter ( I?m legally deaf - 70% hearing loss ) I lip read but that?s impossible to do with someone talking sitting next 2 U - plus the guys a trickster .
But of course I will have to argue next week. If I lose we?ll get evicted since the default eviction order is in place , only temporarily stayed pending the Judges ruling .
I HATE being in this unenviable ( and extremely stressful) position and am constantly kicking myself for the life choices that allowed this to happen.
For what it?s worth I cope better in a clutch ( very stressful and hi- pressure situation) my own way by de- stressing a little.
It was only some wine and its flavored beer equivalent.
BTW my goal is not to be 100% sober - just to drink reasonably and function as well as can be expected.
Exercise - PT this morning followed by Central Park walk home and Chiro this afternoon .
D yesterday - olive bread w spiced olives and beans, wine
B- chockachino
S- little bottle apple cider
L - bites of fried chicken sandwich , coffee latte insides of two samosas
D - shrimp w avocado n cucumber salad, plaintain , 2 ribs , bites of gochouang chicken n skirt steak , watermelon juice
S- dragonfruit zero sugar 7-11 Slushie
total walk for the day 6.41 miles
It?s frustrating and boring
showing up for myself and doing what I have to do. But I?m doing it unlike a few months ago. Accountability is good 4 me !
Accountability yesterday - 2/3 of a normal sized bottle of wine , 4 Tates ( largely butter ) cookies in the middle of d nite n skipped barre class ( jes too tired and bottoms of feet were tingling )
Vitamins ( when I remember - about 1/2 the time - chewable C 1000 mg , gummy chewable multi and K2 , horse chestnut capsule , iron ( different forms of ferritin never elemental iron ) amino acids
I hate to admit it but I don?t enjoy raw fruit plain . I have to dip in Stevia first ! ( and my pouch won?t tolerate raw apples just cider and apple pie ! )
Here R some pics from my walks in Central Park.
Those outfits are so cute. Bet they had a lot of fun.

Good morning!
Under accountability for yesterday. I get an A. Good meal choices. Planned treat. All water, all day. I'll admit the only thing that kept me from going for a glass of wine was knowing I had a 6:30 am yoga class today. But I will take any edge I can get. 502 move calories, 101 minutes of exercise 10,638 steps.
Today, Yoga and spin class are done. I opted out of treadmill time and I will probably be mad at myself by evening time. But I am physically tired. I've done yard chores and some house stuff and I am cleaning up and need groceries. That will keep me busy this morning. This afternoon will be reading and a nap. This evening, dinner on the neighbor's deck. It's hot today, on the 90's, but expected to be in the 70's by early evening. There will be wine. My only goal will be that there is a reasonable amount of wine. Nothing more.
QoTD1: Anything pumpkin.
QoTD2: I take all Bariatric Advantage supplements. I just had my blood work done and I am to step away from the Vit D for 30 days and then go back to half a dose. My B12 is high but not an issue. Every single other metric was just about dead even for the middle of "good" numbers. I also got a bone density scan done and while not much improved from two years ago, it's no worse. So exercise is paying off in that area as well as supplements and good food choices.
Pics are from Rog heading off to Oktoberfest. What a riot.
Peace!

Good mornin y'all.
Life is so so as usual. Ups and downs. The pain clinic is going to try a steroid injection in my neck, even though they don't think it'll work. It's a get it outta the way for insurance. If it doesn't provide substantial relief I'll be referred to an orthopedic for my shoulder. It's been very painful. Having to do all the normal things is trying but stuff needs to get done.
The weather is driving me nuts. I'm ready for the bugs to die!
QOTD 1: I really don't like Nutella. Umm...apple cinnamon flavored stuff isn't my favorite either. Fermented food for the most part makes me gag...kombucha is disgusting.
QOTD 2: centrum, calcium citrate, iron patches
B: eggs, coffee and a piece of cheese
L: small biscuit and chicken
D: ????
My mother always bought bananas from the table in the store where they were very brown and very cheap. I think I remember a penny a pound back in the 1950's. I hated bananas because they were so mushy and overly sweet tasting. I know fresh bananas are much better, but just the smell of them turns me off. One year for my birthday, the people in my office bought me a banana split cake. It was lovely but it was banana. I ate it and said how good it was, but hoped I would never have to do that again.

G'morning all!
Yma - yay for being home. Hope the conf was worth your time.
This weekend we are taking the Halloween decore out and get the house ready. I also gotta do some last items shopping to get the kids' Halloween packages ready and mail them out.
QOTD1: I know it's not considered whole food but peanut butter.
QOTD2: I am still with bariatric advantage: multi and calcium, but after seeing the options today I might branch out. I take one Proferrin a day.
It's that time of the year when our sunsets are very colorful. Look at these beauties.

My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- TikTok cucumber chicken salad
