Good morning, everybody!

I was pleased with how 25.1 went. My goal was to make it through the round of 18 burpee db jump overs and I got through the 18, plus a few reps into the round of 21. I will do 25.2 on Saturday morning because we are traveling this week.

The rest of the weekend was fun, we had a Burgundy wine dinner on Friday. My favorite course was similar to a beef Wellington- tiny morsels of beef wrapped in pastry with a sauce. It was served over parsnips. The Crème Brûlée with Rose Champagne was amazing also. More CrossFit and TV chilling on Saturday.

Yesterday, we went for herbed potatoes with Raclette. So good, but so filling.

This is just a one day work week because we are going to Palm Springs tomorrow. I was going to take the whole week off, but I will be stealth traveling at the end of next week. Tonight I need to pack.

QOTD: playing with my cousins when I was about the same age (3 1/2).

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: chili

Have a great day, all!

Good mornin y'all.

it was an interesting weekend. Our garage door opener broke in spectacular fashion. It came detached from the wall and barely missed falling on our car. My brother came over Saturday and we managed to get it open enough to get the car out. We'll be calling today to see if someone can come fix it. It's not an old garage door but the opener is old and the track for it is old too. My grandpa kind of rigged it in there how it wasn't supposed to.

my bloodwork results and UR analysis shows I likely have CKD. I repeat the analysis Friday and we'll see where we go from there. I will have to have another colonoscopy and likely an EGD as well. I've got a referral into a GI doctor. I personally don't think I have a GI bleed but it's best to make sure I guess. My spirits are ok though. I'm not overly worried per se. It'll be what it'll be. If I do have CKD I will have to really alter my diet. I see a lot of research being done this week

QOTD: my grandpa letting me jump off of his shoulders when we were at the lake. I must've been 7 or 8. I don't remember a lot of my childhood.

B: egg whites, sausage , cheese and a special k crisp. Coffee

L: probably a salad of some sort

D: ????

Good Monday morning everyone. The weekend was pretty good. We got three alfalfa bales for the rabbits and goats and while we were at the farm I asked if they had any beef specials going on. They still had the sirloins 15% off so we went over to the beef store. Ended up with a few sirloins and a nice big flank steak to make jerky.

QOTD: What is your earliest memory? I remember when I was 3 1/2 sitting on my grandfather's lap while he was baling hay. He would watch me while my mom ran errands sometimes. We were stopped by the edge of a field looking at two squirrels playing when we heard my mom yell from across the field. She was yelling at him to not let me fall off. He just gave her a look "like really I'm not going to let her fall". He died a year later from colon cancer.

B: coffee and two hard boiled eggs

L: Bok choy soup

D: pork burgers

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day!!!!

All of them. It's natural . But I educated myself through the Bariatric team and was fortunate to go to a couple support groups prior to surgery. Do not listen to those who have never had the surgery, or those who do not have a history with obesity. They will never understand your struggles.

Long ago I learned the best method of communication is the method that your listener prefers. I will talk on the phone, email, text, or even use snail mail if I find that is the most efficient way to deal with that person. My own personal preference is texting. It is quick and everything is in writing. I also use the voice method of dictating texts so can be less tedious.

When I worked for TurboTax would usually start with a chat session, then switch to phone if it got too complicated for texting. Sometimes people would be at their office or with other people around and did not want to have others overhear their personal tax questions. So for them chat sessions were ideal and then I might call them back at home we needed to talk and they needed privacy.

When I was learning programming language, one professor said that someday people would be in the same room typing messages to others in the room and not talking anymore. Back then it sounded like science fiction. Now it is normal life.

QOTD- At work email, but it gets the best of me. I don't sort or file them so I'm constantly searching for them. For personal if it's short a text will do, but I'd prefer to talk.

It's spring, we were officially over 60 yesterday. My crocus and daffodils are starting to bloom. We still had frost last night but it's going to be 64 today, almost warm enough to dry my clothes outside.

I need to see if I can get my yard guys to dig up the rose bushes, I have 5 and they are not attractive and need to go. One is just the root stock with long vines that occasionally put out red roses. I'd like to use the bed for a garden instead, it's the one that gets the most sunshine. Last years garden was a disaster, I'm not going to use seeds. I started them too late and it was too hot, I need to get the drip mist system going so that it will ge****ered more evenly.

TGIF I couldn't stand another day of this torture.

Have a great day everyone!

Good mornin y'all!

so glad this week is over too...well almost over. Ha.

Good mornin ladies.

Can't sleep much as usual.

Yesterday was a doozy. I have osteoarthritis in the SI area. I have to see a GI doctor now. My doc believes I have a bleed somewhere as my iron is pretty low and other numbers point to it I guess. I have to get monthly B12 shots. I have to get more lab work and UR analysis next week. Take a strict iron regimen. I may have something up with my kidneys, either an infection or damage.

Right now I'm freaking scared I'll lose coverage with Medicaid. I'm lucky that I still belong to the clinic I got to. If I lose Medicaid I will have a bit of backup just in case. I'll lose a lot of things but will get basic stuff. I'm just terrified. I'm on Medicaid due to being on disability. I don't know how I'll survive without either.

i'm angry and I'll be damned if I give up on any of this but there is fear too.

Today will be just a thrift store day. I may wash my bedding. I was able to order my nieces Bday gifts. She's is wanting to learn CM so there it is! I am excited but also scared...she is left handed and will likely weave different than me so it'll be interesting for both of us. I also got her a couple pairs of pliers. I always over do for these kids but oh well...it makes me happy when they feel seen!

QOTD: depends on who. I hate hate hate talking on the phone. Esp to strangers. Email I would say...not a fan of texting.

B: breakfast burrito, coffee and 5 pretzel nuggets(ugh).

L: Not sure on this one. I haven't been able to eat a lot of protein and I need to focus on it.

D: chicken with Brie and maybe some Brussels sprouts

bracelet I made 10 years ago and a meme.
