Good mornin y'all.

Not a lot happening today. I hope it stays that way. Not feeling all the great. Not sick just blah. I think we're in the midst of our last really cold spell. It's 23° outside. We may get to freezing again but probably just barely. We already need to mow some. It's too cold to put the weed stuff out just yet.

My shoulder is absolutely doing horribly. It's making life just a pain in the a$$. It only seems to be getting worse. I use heat and cold therapy to no avail. Just heavily annoyed right now...and pissed.

I think I'm going to have to cut way back on carbs. My bs's are not doing great. There is a lot of spikes. I had a cup of coffee with sugar free creamer and a special k crisp for breakfast and an egg earlier this morning to take my pain med with. Mind you I took insulin with it and my bs is spiking horribly. Currently 240. I am just not going to tolerate simple carbs. The rest of those will go to my brother or the kids. I need to get some lunch meat and cheese sticks to have as snacks and mini meals.

QOTD: right now none of them are my absolute ideal but Newschannel10, the cbs affiliate is the one I watch most. The weather team is my favorite there for sure.

B: egg, special k crisp and coffee

L: salad with chicken and yogurt salad dressing

D: not sure, may do a wrap with a zero net carb tortilla.

S: cheese, hard boiled eggs, maybe something else

Good Friday Eve. Happy first day of Spring!!!

Not much going on today. I do have to take Irvin to a quick doctor's appointment at 8am as the tranny in his truck has decided to give him fits. He's going to have to work on getting the replacement one out of his old truck as it only has 20k miles on it. I started two jars of sprouts this morning and I'll work on posting a picture later when I get into work.

QOTD: What's your favorite local news channel? Channel 3 in CT is my favorite one. All the people on there are so funny and down to earth. The other channels available the people all seem kind of snobby and almost like robots.

B: coffee and 2 egg bits

L: ham and swiss wrap

D: pork chops and salad

Have a great day everyone!!!

At ER they did xrays and said nothing was broken. Doctor ordered cat scan and they did that Friday. I got results back last night so now understand why it was so painful. It is unbelivable that the employee thought he could be rehired. I know you are glad that he is gone.

Oh no Mary. I hope you heal quickly. When you went to the ER did they just X-ray or cat scan? Sometimes things can be missed on an X-ray, but seen on a cat scan. Glad you have family around to help you out.

That employee called HR asking if he could be rehired down the road if another position opened up. Um nope never.

Thoughts and prayers for this unwelcome surprise. I fell in the fall and realized it was much more severe than I thought. My forehead dented the corner of a wall. I definitely was concussed. I'm glad you sought help.

Just rest. I am giving in and going to take some pain medication. The weather here has been beautiful and I really want to be outside in the sunshine. I should be good by the time the pool is open. Usually in May if there are hot days. I was so upset with myself for having pain when I thought nothing was broken. I have a good doctor working with me now. But it will be a lot of rest until it heals.
