G'morning all!

Today the microwave people are back to see if they can fit the darn thing back into the cabinet hole. It's been too much back and forth and wait around for a dang microwave. I don't understand the companies that make a certain size microwave, you build custom built cabinets around it, and then they stop making that size. What are you supposed to do when the thing is no longer reparable?

QOTD: I'm not a fast food person, not even before WLS. And unfortunately we don't have in-n-out (my only fast food love) anywhere nearby. So if I'm in an emergency, which has happened before, I stop at a grocery store. I grab Fage yogurt, turkey slices, and if lucky they have ready hb eggs.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • TJ kebabs w/homemade tzatziki
  • Barebells bar
  • Protein Icecream - pumpkin latte
  • E: 6 miles wog

Happy jr Fri-yay!

Good Morning Amy and Meneurs,

All this WL talk does have me motivated. I even Logged my food after I ate it yesterday and I did hit over 100g of protein. It was a few more calories than I like but all and all a good day. I actually do not have to run anywhere or do anything for anyone but myself tonight. The plan is to drop in check on mom get her organized, come home walk the dog and do 30 minutes on the treadmill. The new series Georgie and Mandys First Marriage starts tonight, and I am looking forward to it. I never got to the Walmart yesterday, so I am going to try that again today. I got a bigger list so probably better I waited.

QOTD: Run into Sheetz and grab a Volpi Rotini. I prefer the Formaggio brand at Walmart because they have fresh Mozzarella instead of provolone.

Accountability: a little over on calories due to cottage cheese and a few pieces of jerky.

  • Good morning, everyone!

With swimming in the morning and CrossFit in the afternoon, yesterday was my first double dip day since before the triathlon. And, I think it got me past my jet lag! I slept through parts of three shows, and then went to bed and slept through the night (more or less).

Today is an office, day. I don?t have anything planned for this evening, but I may go to CrossFit in order to just swim Friday. I also have a bunch of little errands to do this weekend, so I could try and get a jump on those afterwards.

Today?s pictures are from Angkor Wat. In general, I was one of the least sweaty people on our trip. But Angkor Wat was the one day when I, in NFL parlance, ?lost contain.? I was just completely soaked through head to toe. Nothing could be re-worn, and I even weighed myself to make sure I wasn?t dangerously dehydrated.

QOTD: Real talk, sometimes that is sharing size M&M?s eaten slowly enough to prevent dumping. But I will feel a lot better if I go to Jersey Mikes (medium Roast Beef with cheese, pickles, mustard and spices.) Or a charcuterie pack like Hilshire Farms.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Chicken Parm

Dinner: steak salad

Have a great day, all!

Good morning all and Happy 'lil Friday,

Look at 'Lil Friday, so cute and innocent. He doesn't know that he will be fully grown in 24 hours and out in the real world of the weekend.

Yesterday was not a good day. At the neurologist, after the EMGs, I was told there was nothing I need to act on. He said that I should just tolerate it, if possible and talk to pain management. Since I'm already seeing pain management for my hip issues, there isn't anything additional they will do. He did say an epidural in the neck is an option. I had so much fun with a spine epidural previously.

QOTD- corner store rotisserie chicken or taco for guys.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt.

L: ???

D: leftover pizza and green veggies.

Good morning! I don't often grab fast food but if I do it's chicken since I don't eat beef and sometimes I eat it too quickly and I get the foamies so I have to be super careful. I'm trying to think about when I've gotten shaky or hangry and what I have done. I suppose it doesn't happen that often - other than the last few weeks (breakup, move) I'm not one to "forget" to eat haha. So I guess I don't often run into that scenario cuz I'm always planned?

Today is going to be a great day. I started early and I'm ending early to go do a double class at my old gym. It's a 40 min drive which is bananas but I love it so much so I'm going to try to do a double class 2x a week. I tried the local satellite Jazzercise last night and it was meh. It's in a church rec room and it's a small group and the energy just isn't the same. But I will definitely do the occasional drop in.

Amy I have a QOTd for you - "what's the best thing you've ordered online recently?" I got a robot kitty litter (not the $600 one; a cheaper one) and it's CHANGED MY LIFE. No joke.

Eats today: the rest of the egg salad, sushi and more sushi. I did a shot today so likely won't have much capacity.
Have a wonderful Friday Eve!

So sorry to hear about Grim. I am glad that he got care and will still be able to go on his trip. But what awful timing.
