Good Morning Amy and Meneurs,
I really enjoyed the week on the menu. Lots of great ideas and encouragement. I miss the days when Grim would scrutinize our menus and remind us of the rules we signed up for. Hope everyone else is getting a new outlook on what this thread can be. Positive vibes with a little tough love thrown in. Not in a mean way but in an accountability way. Feedback has been great this week. I am hoping this is my turn it around point.
Weekend looks like 3 days for me! Whoo-hoo. Tomorrow I am going to gym in the morning, then Mom duty. I have out of town guest coming mid-November, so I need to get some food prep done. I plan on getting the Braciole done for the meat pot this weekend and maybe a cheesecake if time allows. It is peak fall this weekend and should be in the low 70's, so I want to get out to see the leaves. If Ron finishes the shed, I hope to go to a museum or the Shanksville Memorial on Monday.
QOTD: I so needed this in my 20's but never realized how overweight I really was. I called myself the dyslexic anorexic. I looked in the mirror and thought I was skinny. I even was approved and was 2 days away from surgery in 2015 and I chickened out. I don't know if I would have been nearly as successful if I did it any earlier.
Accountability: I snacked on 1/2 honey crisp apple with 2 tablespoons on Snicker doodle Cannoli dip from Aldi and I was about 350 calories over what Fitness pail allotted me and I only had 90 proteins. Never got to treadmill damn dog wouldn't got to the bathroom so we were out walking for over 45 minutes, at least I was moving

This is the exact recipe i used for the Spaghetti squash.
Moose farts (Hand Made) and pumpkin truffles from Aldi. I thought it was very cute for the game last Sunday.
The neighbor's dog jumped in Rons lap when he came in the house to watch the game Sunday. He looks like he is supposed to be there.

Good morning, everybody!
4 weeks until we visit Chrissy!
I made it up early and got to swimming. Today I also did about 1300 of the 1600 workout. I definitely could have finished, but I had to leave in order to get to work.
We did drills with the pulling blocks and kick boards plus some other drills like one arm swimming. I don?t kick much, so the pulling block actually makes me faster and the kick board is so, slow. But it?s all about improving.
Marilyn is going to Dallas to help DD move apartments. She leaves this afternoon and returns Sunday night. This should be a good weekend: three days of CrossFit, a haircut, some football and I?m making a shrimp boil in the crockpot tomorrow.
QOTD: I don?t have an exact number, but I wish I had done it earlier so that I wasn?t still on diabetic medications.
Last pictures, thank you for bearing with me. The temple with the faces is Angkor Tom and the one with the trees is Ta Prom (also called Tomb Raider Temple because that?s where it was filmed)
Breakfast: bagel
lunch: chicken
dinner: steak salad
have a great day, all!

lol, ours include instruction to make loud and big movements but to not be high pitched (it sounds like prey, I guess). Look, I can be loud or I can be low pitched, I cannot be both!!

G'morning all!
Today I'm meeting a friend for lunch, and then we'll go for a long walk. This is the friend whose every step equals to 1.5 of my steps. I'm happy the route today is flat, because on the uphills I'm always winded behind her. She is so goofy; you look at her you'd think she is the model of etiquette and reserve, but put her in a Zumba class and she is the goofiest person. We had daughters in the same class at school but we had never met, until we met in a Zumba class. I love her to pieces and when we meet (every 3-4 months) my face muscles hurt I laugh so much.
QOTD: about 10 years earlier. But I didn't know anything about WLS then. The second my nutritionist mentioned It I was on board.
This week these signs popped up in the forest , I am assuming due to some sighting. It's pretty normal in our area. What made me stop and take notice is the highlighted part (by me!), because I wondered if the mountain lion doesn't "behave" in the way we expect, will I be even alive to go report to the management? Those are the thoughts that usually keep me entertained and I laugh all by myself at my wittiness.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- TikTok cucumber salad w/hb eggs and capers
- Barebells bar
- Protein Icecream - chocolate
- E: strength training
Happy Fri-yay!

Thanks. A local grocery store, Mariano's, used to grill anything in their butcher case. It was a great option for spur of the moment protein. They still do it but have no employees to do the grilling. I always chuckle when I hear that.
