Ice cream is not something I can eat anymore. I used to love Breyers Strawberries and Cream. If my husband and son were out of town I would buy a box of that and eat it all weekend. It was really creamy and had wonderful strawberries. That was 30 or 40 years ago and nothing like that anymore. I do have a half gallon of Breyers Lactose Free Vanilla in the freezer. It is the only thing I can eat and only a small di**** gets rock hard so I have a scoop that is chemically treated and gets warm in your hand. Then it is easy to scoop some out.

Still pretty cold, but will be 69 on Saturday. I can see all the green buds on the trees and the sun is shining today. So nice to know spring is coming back.

Good morning, Jennifer and Menuer's,

It was cool this morning on Rudy's walk but supposed to get in the 50's today. The neighbors asked us to go to dinner last night and we did an authentic Mediterranean place. Ron is never up for that type of food, but I love it. If it was me asking, he never would have gone. He had the beef Shawarma and liked it, but he liked my Kafta more. I may be able to get him to go back sometime. Did I say i hit a curb and scratched my wheel on my new car. I am so not happy, and it is going to cost me $200 to get it fixed.

QOTD: Sarris candies is less than a mile from my home. If I have guest in town, I always take them there. I really cannot eat ice cream anymore but when I could I'd get Rum Raisin with Milk Chocolate hard cap.

Good morning, everybody!

I slept for almost 9 hours last night. I guess the race is catching up to me a bit. My legs are a bit sore today, but nothing too bad. One of our sons asked for chili, so Marilyn is making a bunch in the slow cooker. That should keep us fed for a couple of days.

Tomorrow, we are heading up to Milwaukee to see Heart. I've never seen them play before, so I'm pretty excited. We were planning to see them last summer in Toronto, but they cancelled because Ann Wilson was undergoing chemotherapy. The concert is at 8:00 and Milwaukee is almost a 2 hour drive, so it will be a long evening. We will probably head up at about 4:00 and have dinner before the show.

QOTD: I will dump pretty fast on Ice Cream, so I need to approach it with caution. I'm with Kelly on the Mint Chip train though. Sometimes we eat those fake ice cream cones, Drumsticks, with chocolate chips that they sell in the freezer. The kind that don't melt. I can eat those without dumping. Probably because they aren't real.

Breakfast: Yogurt Parfait

Lunch: Bratwurst

Dinner: chili

Have a great day, all!

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my question. It does make sense what you are saying. I will probably schedule an appointment with my bariatric doctor to get things checked out.

Good mornin y'all.

Not much happening today. Yesterday was pretty decent for the most part. We got a lot done around the house that has been needing done.

We might go to Sam's but that might be tomorrow. I'm feeling a little rough around the edges. Mostly digestive issues. The iron supplement is still throwing me for a loop. I just hope it'll drive up my levels like intended.

QOTD: my all time favorite was a Godiva white chocolate raspberry. They don't have it here anymore. I do like the talenti brand but don't have a favorite per se. Ice cream isn't always my thing anymore. Haven't had official stuff in years.

B: small yogurt bar and a special k crisp

L: andouille sausage and some green beans

D: chicken breast, lightly coated cooked in the oven

I would think maybe a stabbing type pain or could be a pulling type pain especially if scar tissue has developed.

When I had my lap band before I revised to the bypass I would get a pulling type pain where my port was and it was because it had been encased in scar tissue that attached itself to a muscle and when I moved it would pull on it. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

You could have an ulcer which is pretty common in bypass patients and it is like a burning pain.
