Good Morning Gang. Finally feeling a bit better. Had a good night's sleep without getting up once with a coughing fit or runny nose. Still slept on the couch, but that's ok as it is pretty comfortable.

I didn't think we had much of any plans for the weekend, but one of Irvin's granddaughters is having a cheerleading competition this weekend at Mohegan Sun Casino so it looks like we will be attending that tomorrow. Plus, the weather is going to be rainy so what better to do than stay indoors and watch a bunch of kids have fun. Maybe I'll see if he wants to play the slots a little to test our luck.

QOTD: Who here goes to a Casino for something other than gambling? I can count on one hand how many times I've gone to either Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun to actually play the slots or something, but we have in the past gone for different events be it a home and garden show or a car show etc. I'm actually looking forward to going tomorrow to watch the competition.

B: coffee

L: Rueben pizza slices

D: chicken and mushrooms

I was able to do 20 minutes on the treadmill this morning.

Have a great day and weekend everyone!!!

Good mornin y'all.

my mom and me had a fight last night. It's been a long time coming and I'm glad it's over with. Boy can she be spiteful and mean.

nothing much planned today. We'll likely go to the thrift store. They're saying we'll get to 92° tomorrow so we'll likely stay home tomorrow. We may go get some plants for the yard. We'll see.

QOTD: the closest I've been to a Cassino is a mini one in a hotel we stayed in in Montana. It was 4 slot machines! LOL. I didn't play. Other than that I've never been in one.

B: 1 cup cereal, 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk, coffee

L: egg, ham, oat nut bread, cheese and maybe an apple

Good morning, everybody!

I was happy to see that the contractors were in the hot tub starting their repairs this morning. I don't know what they need to do or how long it will take to conclude, but I do know that they can't finish until they get started.

We don't have a ton of plans this weekend, I am doing a little 3K fun run tomorrow morning and I am going to a seminar on how to change my bicycle tires later that day. My son wants to go fishing on Sunday, so that may be the plan. Hopefully, I can start some packing of my garage gym stuff.

At lunch yesterday, the guy next to me ordered a family size deep dish pizza. He was dumbfounded by how large it was. He asked me if I wanted a piece and would have loved to have cancelled my order and just had one slice and a soup. But they were already making my pasta. Hence today's leftovers.

QOTD: I have not yet, but I could definitely see myself going to smaller concerts. I like the idea of shorter drives and free parking. I think the Sphere is attached to a casino but I don't count it.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: Tortellini

Dinner: Italian Beef

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Jenniefer and Menuer's.

Wow I never thought I would see Friday. It's been rough. My plan is to do gym and Mom duty and get ready for Easter. I do have to stop by the funeral home for a viewing tomorrow, but it will not be an all-day thing. I got one cheesecake made last evening. I plan to do 2 or three more. Just saw Costco has a strawberry cheesecake out. The only difference is theirs has strudel on top.

QOTD: Yup we went to see a band and dance couple weeks ago. I live really close, so we go to see the horse races and bands. It is cheap close and fun.

Accountability: I ate the last piece of strawberry rhubarb pie.

Good morning all and Happy Friday,

I went to my primary for my physical and every blood test looks good. I also found out that my primary is leaving in August. It's time to find a new practice.

This weekend, I'll be spending a lot of time with my moms.

QOTD- I gamble in the casinos. However, while in Vegas, I go to casinos based on food and entertainment.

B: pp shake.

L: grilled bratwurst. Onions & brown mustard

D: steak and eggs, breakfast cauliflower hash browns.

QOTD- Pre-surgery we used to go for the seafood buffet. But it's a waste now, since neither one of us can eat very much. Plus I hate the smoke, since it is an Native American casino you can smoke pretty much any where. And the non-smoking section doesn't have the good slots.

I got the job done that was due yesterday, so I'm on a roll. I over think everything, and worry too much about this stuff. I have another job I need to get done today.

I'm looking for a new series to binge, I finished Only Murders in the Building, and Ghosts UK. Waiting for the new season of The Cleaner on Britbox. Any suggestions?

Have a great day everyone!

Did you watch Happy Valley? We liked that and another series called Unforgotten. Both UK crime stories.

I stay in casinos when in Vegas because so cheap. But the tradeoff is the cigarette smoke. They used to all have wonderful and very inexpensive buffets but that is no longer the case. Now the food is pretty pricey, like $29 for a hamburger. There are a few buffets left but they are not cheap anymore.

I have gone to local casino for concerts and to watch the horses race. My husband was a gambler, but I am not. So I have no problem walking past the machines.
