Finally Friday's Menu
Morning Gang sorry I'm a little late a bit busy this morning at work. We made it through another week. So far the outage itself is still going well, but we have had a couple of employee issues. We will see how HR handles them.
I can't wait to get outside this weekend and do some yard work. I did do half of a list yesterday of what I want to get done this year. Other than that not much planned for the weekend.
QOTD: Does anyone here like to star gaze or watch eclipses? I love looking at the sky at night especially during the Summer. I swear the stars are so much brighter in the Summer than in the Winter. Unfortunately, I missed the Lunar Eclipse last night due to the overcast skies.

Good mornin y'all.
we're likely to stay home all day. We're having gusts of wind upwards of 70mph right now. Sucks...big time suck, I hate the wind and I live in the wrong place for that!
i might do some cleaning and get some phone calls done. I can't take an antacid and my GERD is flaming up this morning. So gross.
QOTD: I love sky watching, whether it be clouds or stellar. I also missed most of the clips due to haze and spotty clouds.
B: eggs
L: probably chicken or soup
D: ???
happy Pi day!
Good morning, Jennifer and Menuer's
I ended up getting a pedicure at lunch yesterday. The lady who has done my pedicure for the last at least 15 years went to Vietnam to see her family and she was off for 2 months. Being it was the winter it didn't matter so I saved a few bucks. I called yesterday and I was shocked when she could fit me in. This is all good news because if I would have tried to run without a pedicure, I would have had some serious runner's toe. Tomorrow is the cycle fund raiser, after that I have mom duty. She really needs a haircut this week, so I'll get that done and I believe Ron needs his hair cut also. I bought a head of cabbage, so I plan on making Huluski. I will take out a few servings for myself before I add the noodles for everyone else.
QOTD: I slept right through it last night and I guess it was beautiful and clear here in Pittsburgh. I like to look at the sky but not to the point that I actually know what I am looking at. I can pick out the big dipper but that's about it.

Good Morning on this Fri-yay! I hope the rest of your audit goes well. I am not sure yet what my weekend looks like. I may have to work a few hours to feel more prepared for next week but that is only if I get some reports I need from other departments. John will be working off/on anyways (membership drive) so it'll be a low key weekend. Emily has been experimenting more with her sourdough and it's so fun to see her creations (pizza and cinnamon swirl most recently).
QOTD: I'm usually not up late enough but if I am and if something cool is happening I'll try and take a look.

Have a great day!
Good morning, everybody!
It's pretty chilly here in Arizona, I've been wearing a light coat whenever I go out to do anything. We are still hoping that it warms up enough so that we can get in the hot tub at least.
Yesterday it took over 1 1/2 hours to get through the rental car lines, so I didn't manage to get any work done . Today I am going to have to have to spend a pretty good amount of time working. But, we have a dinner for Marilyn's team tonight.
I'm also going to try and do Open Workout 25.3 while I'm here. Hopefully I can schedule that for tomorrow. If not, I can do it Monday.
QOTD: I watched the eclipse last year and I have tried, unsuccessfully, to see the Northern Lights periodically. I think there is too much light in our neighborhood.
I had a yogurt parfait for breakfast, not sure about the rest of the day.
Have a great day, all!

When I lived out of town, I was always outside at night looking at the sky. We even had a telescope for years. The area where I live has the most cloud cover in the United States. During World War Two they had a military facility where they produced ammunition and bombs. The area was picked for its cloud cover.
Now I live in town and there is too much light to see anything like the northern lights or an eclipse at night. Last year people a few miles outside of town saw incredible views of the Northern Lights.

Morning gang. Just getting back from my quarterly haircut. I should probably do it more often, but I just lose track, and spend maybe 5 seconds a day looking in a mirror. I only think of it when JB starts following me around with scissors.
My daughter is having brain surgery next Tuesday. She has a non-cancerous growth taken out when she was 18, and it's grown back. It's about the size of a grape. I've taken her to several appointments, scans, etc over the last couple of weeks. They don't seem overly worried, but I sure am. Swing some chickens for her.
QOTD: I'm very interested in astronomy. I wish I was better at identifying objects.
Here's a photo of me, my brother, and my daughter in Florida last weekend.

Good morning all and Happy Friday,
I'm in a dark, depressed mood the last couple days. I have had to really lean on my support system so I don't start self sabotage.
I met up with my family yesterday. Tonight, I'm spending the night with Paula. I'm hoping that puts my head on right.
QOTD- I like stars. And turtles
