Happy Hump Day Gang.

Well, something very interesting happened yesterday at work. Remember that one employee who I've told you all about who has called out over 10 times since January? He called at 3:30 to say he would be in late at 9:00pm as he had a doctor's appointment. Now I'm not sure how many places are open that late for an appointment, but I guess there are some. Anyways, at exactly 8:45 he called to say he would not be in as his sister died. Now, I'm not saying it is not true, but he has been complaining about working the outage and how tired he is. It looks like he will be out for the rest of the outage. He knows we are not allowed to ask for proof of a death, but something seems very strange about the entire situation. I would hope a person would not lie about a family member passing away.

QOTD: Would you ever lie about the passing of a family member just to get out of working? Nope never in a million years. That would bring very bad Juu Juu upon oneself.

B: coffee and 2 egg omelet with cheese and spinach

L: Jersey Mikes salad bowl chipotle chicken

D: pork burgers on the grill

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good mornin y'all!

No call from the doctor's office yesterday. Even after calling in. I'm just a bit pissed. Cipro is a serious med. I had to do my own research, which in of itself isn't a bad thing to do but I should be informed about the why. I am not a happy camper.

Not sure what today's plan is. My mom has been kind of difficult as of late. Just a little nasty towards me. I get we all need to vent but I am a target all the time.

QOTD: nope...never.

B: pancake on a stick.

L: ???

D: chicken.

Good morning, everybody!

I don't have swimming today because the gym pool is being resurfaced. As much as I enjoy it, I have to admit that I was glad to sleep in. The last two days have been very busy at work, today will be busy but not as much so. Fortunately, I am working from home today. We have happy hour tonight and need to leave for the airport at 6:00 tomorrow, so I think that I will try and pack this morning.

8 days of winter and 4 are in Arizona. I think we've got this.

I know that I mentioned this before, but we got 100 tulip bulbs from our local mall in exchange for a food donation last year. Marilyn planted them in our mulch beds under a wire screen to keep them away from the rabbits. They have just started coming up this week, so she is trying to figure out when the best time to move them is. Also, since it was just a drive through, we have no idea which colors are which. But it will be fun to see what we got.

It looks like we will close on our house in Florida on March 31st. We had originally thought about moving it up two weeks, but decided to just stick with the end of the month. The Seller gave us a little discount in lieu of fixing the punch list items, so Marilyn will probably stay the first week of April to get those taken care of. We have two larger items that will need to be done eventually: (1) there are posts for a boat lift, but no actual lift, and (2) the pool needs to be re-surfaced (unrelated to the gym pool re-surfacing above). We need to figure out the timing on those two, but it wont be in April.

QOTD: Nope.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Turkey sandwich

Dinner: Steak

Have a great day, all!

You don't want to move the tulips when they first start to come up or you will not get any blooms from them this year. She would need to wait until the Fall or when the foliage dies back in the early Summer to transplant them to a different location.

Good morning Jennifer and Menuers.

Yeah, Wednesday and a warm one at that. I get to take mom to play cards tonight but nothing else besides work. Wednesdays are usually a little slower around here and with Friday being payday I probably will take the time to record my upcoming bills while I have the time. I handle paying all the bills. I don't think I would trust Ron with that task. I also do not think he realizes how much time it takes to do it. I monitor all my bills and if something looks off, I call and get an explanation. It has benefited me in the past, so I try to stay on top of it. Not just for me but for my mother's home as well.

QOTD: Nope no way. I was in Vegas years ago and there was a Mobility scooter convention going on. We met a sales rep, and she brought scoters down to the casino floor for us to ride. My friend said Nope that is bad Karma. I had a blast riding it around. The next day my back went out and I ended up having back surgery. I learned my lesson.

Accountability: I had a peanut Butter bread right before bed.

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Protein Cafe Latte and a banana

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: cheesy chicken bake and berries

D: Turkey meatballs in red sauce

Exercise: dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day,

Gotta get over the hump!

It's been a tough week. I am holding on to resentments and it's affecting my state of mind. My tenure of being a board member and treasurer for m my Alano club is over. I was never told I wasn't needed to do anything else. I have no clue what happened but, apparently, others do. My 'good friends' never mentioned anything but definitely had the opportunity to give me a heads up. The resentment goes nowhere and has no real purpose. However, I am disappointed with the club in general and am shifting my service work to an animal shelter. Bless them, change me

QOTD- I would have lied about a family death when I was young. I never did, though. Today, it wouldn't even be a full thought.

Steps: 5,294

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut yogurt.

L: Fairlife shake, corned beef, salad.

D: maybe wings and roasted veggie medley.

Today's Goals: Stay positive. Steal a smile. Be kind. Learn something knew. Help another person. Do the best I can with what I have.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

So sorry about your club but the animals will benefit so much from your time and care! They'll appreciate it more!
