How did your eating habits change after surgery?
The first year you will eat less than a cup of food at every meal. You will lose extreme amounts of weight quickly. In year two exercise and eating small portions will keep you losing weight. As you feel your way through you will find foods that will not agree with you. You can always try them again the further out you get. After year 2 most get a little more adventurous and try to add back in some favorites from the past. Sometimes you can eat them but sometimes your new stomach will say no. After year 3 you need to keep a tight regiment on food and exercise. This is primarily when weight gain occurs. We all have a bounce back period when a few pounds sneak back up. By this time, you should know the rules and habits that make you a successful weight loss patient. Good luck
