Good morning gang. Yesterday ended up being a very productive day at work and also at home. Even though the copier at work decided to stop working we have backup printers so I was still able to get just about everything done that needed to be completed. Then when I got home I got the rabbits cleaned out, went through a couple more totes, and then just chilled for an hour before going to bed at 9.

We got 27 eggs from the chickens so I brought two dozen in to work to sell my price is still $5 a dozen the same as it has been since 2020 when the feed went up. A couple of people asked me if I was going to raise my prices and I said nope unless the feed prices go crazy, so now I have a few people who want to buy them from me every week. When your fresh eggs are cheaper than Walmart that just shows you the corporate greed that is out there.

QOTD: What is your favorite topic to talk about? Farming/gardening. I could talk all day about raising farm animals and growing vegetables. I don't know why, but it feels so satisfying to me when people say wow I didn't know about XYZ.

B: coffee and 2 egg and ham bites

L: tuna wrap with banana peppers

D: chicken loaf with mashed sweet potatoes

20 minutes on the vibration plate

Have a great day everyone!!

Good mornin y'all.

yesterday's appointment went far better than I thought it would. He ordered the bloodwork, X-ray and listened! The bloodwork shows some type of infection...probably a bladder or kidney infection. My iron is at 21. I've got some work to do. My A1c went down to 6.6. Officially .5 of a drop. I should hear today from the doctor or his nurse about the bloodwork and X-ray. also I should be getting the final stuff for the CGM next week. His nurse also raised hell with my bariatric surgeons office. They tried to get me an appointment since he hasn't seen me in two + years. I tried to call and they had had a data breach so they said they'd call me when it cleared up. Nada. I tried to call again and could never get an answer on what to do. Mainly just need him to order the bloodwork needed.

Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon.

Not much planned for the day. I'll need to go pick up some prescriptions and maybe we'll go to the grocery store. One local place has chuck roast 3.99 a pound. You have to buy two but it's a good deal.

QOTD: unfortunately chainmaille. No one around here cares about it but me so I frequent some fb groups.

B: eggs, sausage and coffee

L: burrito with avocado and sour cream

D: ????

Great job on the A1(C). 6.6 is where my Endocrinologist wants me to be.

Infections ate awful and glad they found it and hopefully get it cleared up. My regular doctor orders all my bloodwork. Have not seen my surgeon in about 10 years.

That's great news about your A1c. Now to get that infection taken care of. So glad both the doctor and nurse were on your side.

Good morning, everyone!

I saw a crocus on the way to the train station this morning. It wasn't in our yard, but I'm sure that ours will be up soon. Last year, we got over 100 bulbs from a mall in the next town over. When they change their beds to summer annuals, they give bags of bulbs to everyone that brings food donations.

Marilyn planted all of those bulbs in our mulch beds, underneath chicken wire (to keep the rabbits out). Hopefully, those will come up shortly and she can distribute them around the yard.

It sounds like Marilyn and my son had a great night fishing, they caught Snook, Redfish, and Sea Trout. Now they have to buckle down and get a contract finalized so that we can close in a couple of weeks.

They fly home tonight and I will pick them up at the airport.

QOTD: Probably travel.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: sandwich

Dinner: chicken Alfredo

Have a great day, all!

Good morning Jennifer and Menuers,

I am so thankful that all the Valentines, Anniversary's, and Birthday partying are officially over!!! Now I can focus on taking off a couple pounds. This month has been ladened with treats and I have tried to stay mindful about what I am eating, but I need to get back to prioritizing protein. This leads me to my to-do list today. I need to call the butcher and let them know how I want my 1/2 cow cut up today. Isn't it crazy that a dozen eggs are more than 1lb of beef.

QOTD: Food, Hence the weight loss surgery. I love to cook, eat, I love finding hidden gems in specialty markets, great restaurants. I can go on and on about food.

Accountability: I had a small cannoli, but we are close to not having any deserts worth eating lying around.

TSS: 7 years 2-months 16-days 167.8 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Banana berries chili

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: Crock pot pizza

D: Meatballs Braciole sausage and 1 ravioli.

Exercise: dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest blessings
