What's on your Monday menu?
I agree it is a great stadium and believe they should still wear those hats. If I am in the stadium, I find it very cool that you can get BBQ from Manny Sanguillen. And he is always there working not just a figure head.

Good morning all and Happy Monday,
The weekend was very nice. Valentine's Day was almost perfect. We started the night at an Italian Joint in Oak Park, Ciro, that had eight seats, scratch made everything, the owner was cooking 10 feet from us, really good handmade pasta and gravy, and even better focaccia, fresh buffalo mozz, and pesto. We finished and walked outside to picturesque snow floating to a fresh 1/4" on the ground. We then went to a stand-up comedy showcase. A couple of the comedians were funny. Then back home, we took the dog to play in the snow, had a heart shaped small chocolate truffle cheesecake I made, and went to bed

Happy Monday everyone. I spent last week in Las Vegas and enjoyed being away from the ice and snow. But it was a bit cold out there last week, with temps in the 60's and a lot of wind. They said the week before it was in the 70's. We went to Gordon Ramsey's Hells Kitchen for dinner and had the scallops and beef wellington. We paid $20 extra for seating in the kitchen area where you can watch the chefs prepare meals.
We did a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon that included a champaign lunch at the bottom of the canyon. Lots of other fun things. The food prices are really high and one place was $29.99 for a hamburger with fries and $7.99 for a bottle of water with it.
I had not been there in years and forgot that they still smoke in the casinos. We both had sinus acting up from all the cigarette smoke. There is an ashtray at every slot machine. Came back to ice and snow but glad to be home.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I also hear that the younger generation is boycotting Vegas for the outrageous pricing. When I first went in the 80's everything was so cost effective. You didn't mind losing because if you still had $10 you could still get a buffet of a Prime Rib dinner.
