What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good morning menu peeps. Another brisk morning here in CT. I got a good night's sleep and feel ready to get things done. I have a few little things to do at work, but it should be another quiet day.
This past weekend I was able to sell some of the Corningware and one of my saddles that I no longer use. Ended up making $400 and I met the two different people at two places I needed to get things at anyways, so it worked out well.
QOTD: If you inherited a castle that had all its expenses paid for the rest of your life, but it was haunted would you live there? Depending on what or who was haunting the castle, but yes if I didn't have to pay to maintain and heat a castle I would definitely live there.
B: coffee and breakfast wrap
L: wonton soup and chicken teriyaki
D: chicken burgers with salad
30 minutes on the treadmill
Have a great day everyone!!!!
Good morning, everybody!
I'm kind of counting down these next three weeks of February. When I get through them I am pretty much done with winter. I'm going to Palm Springs the first week of March and to Phoenix for Marilyn's tennis playoffs part of the second week. Then it's Saint Patrick's Day, March Madness, First Day of Spring and an outdoor 8-K in rapid succession the week of March 17th. But these three weeks are the February blahs.
For some reason I forgot to text Marilyn to pick me up last night. Usually, I get on the train and let her know when I will be home. Yesterday, I looked up my train time, but then must have got distracted (maybe by post Super Bowl news stories?). Because, when I got to the train station she wasn't there. I went to text her that I would start walking, and realized I never told her what time I was coming home.
It's not like its a long walk or anything, just about 3/4 mile. But I did have to pee. When I got home Marilyn and my son were returning from the butcher. They made steak salads with Blue cheese and croutons for a great dinner.
Today I am working from home. I have a few calls and need to go to Crossfit at 10:00.
QOTD: I guess it depends on whether it is more of a Ghosts type of situation or something along the lines of the Amityville Horror.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Steak sandwich, hopefully
Dinner: Spaghetti and meatballs
Have a great day, all!
