Happy Hump Day!!! I think the weather is messing with the computers today. I can't get a photo to upload. It is raining cats and dogs. I got in at 6:30 to beat the worse on the ride in and I plan on leaving a bit early since we are supposed to get 60mph gusts along with very heavy rain later this afternoon. While we need the rain getting it all at once kinda sucks. We are supposed to get 3inches of rain in a 12-hour period.

Yesterday afternoon there was a horrible 4 vehicle accident on 395 the highway right next to the plant. I still can't believe the driver of the tractor trailer didn't die. The highway was shut down for 6 hours.

QOTD: This is a bit of an unusual question, but do any of you believe in time travel? I do. In May of 2020 my husband and I stumbled upon this poorly made documentary about a man from 3036 who supposedly time traveled back to March of 2020. What he talked about then is now coming true or maybe it is all just a very weird coincidence, but people really need to open their eyes and stop listening to the news.

B: Tea and 2 eggs with ham

L: last of the brisket

D: chicken loaf with sweet potatoes

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good morning, everybody!

Back from swimming and now, I'm all about the dip today.

We have a potluck Holiday party at our gym next Friday. I signed up with a TBD next to my name and Monday night somebody suggested that a dip might be a good idea. So, I'm looking for dip recipes. Does anybody know any good dips? They don't have to be bariatric friendly, so long as its not a sugar bomb. Don't want to be dumping during the party.

We are Zooming with Lisa and Roger tonight. It's actually a double dip Happy Hour because we are doing it right after my regularly scheduled Zoom with my retired friends. I think that I will just chat and sip a Bai water for the first leg, so that i am still fresh for the meetup with Lisa.

Other than that, Crossfit and maybe a nap. This week continues to be all about getting my car serviced on Friday so that I can have a low key weekend. I plan to go straight from swimming to the dealership on Friday morning, so I will need to bring a book and a change of clothes.

QOTD: I have read Einstein's second theory of relativity a couple of times and every time that I think I understand it, I get confused again. I know, for example, that time bends and that has to be accounted for when scheduling phone calls through satellites. But to travel back in time, I believe that you actually have to travel faster than the speed of light, which seems unlikely.

Breakfast: ham and Eggs

Lunch: tacos

Dinner: Charcuterie

Have a great day, all!

I sent you a dip recipe that everybody I know loves. However, it does get mayo so you may not be interested. I myself love it but I also love buffalo chicken dip but instead of crackers we put out celery.

it will not be the same but maybe miracle whip. Because it is warm the sour cream won't hold up.

Maybe cream cheese instead of mayo since it will be a warm dip?

Cream cheese would definitely work in this recipe. It would mix well with the Swiss and parm cheeses.

Dip? Ewww. Sorry. I'm not a dip resource. I like my foods un-dipped.
