Whats on Your Tuesday Menu
It is already Tuesday and feels like it was just Friday. I had a great weekend with my family. We went to a Korean resturant and shared a lot of different appetizers and entries. The beef shortrib ragu and the butternut squash risotto was really good. But seeing people is the best part of going out.
I always loved volleyball and when I was a teenager used to spend hours working on my serve and playing games. I don't have enough speed or balance for that anymore. But I am learning that there is always a way to do things, even if it is a very different way from when I was younger.
QOTD: Have you found a way to do a sport that is harder as you get older? I am joining my senior center chair volleyball team. It looks funny but a good way for seniors to stretch and work on balance.

Good morning, Mary and all!
This is kind of a hump day because I am off to Pittsburgh on Thursday morning, But there is never a day when I don?t have emails and some work either.
Poor Marilyn had a double shoe blowout at our dinner the other night.
Hiding the offending shoe. Movie fans may recognize those stairs from The Untouchables.
We left our car at the valet and when we were walking in she said ?these shoes are too big, I think that I need to fill them with tissue .? But then a few more steps and she said ?my shoe is broken ?
I thought that she meant her heel was broken, but no, the glue had dissolved over the years and the left side of the upper had completely dislodged from the sole, flinging her foot out into the wild.
We did some scavenging and were able to find scotch tape and an elastic, which she wrapped around the offending upper. Fortunately, she had a very long dress on. With the jury rigged shoe she made it through ****tail hour and even brought me for a picture.
We sat down for dinner and the program, and when we stood up for dest, BAM! The other shoe blew out. There was to be no tape this time, the offending shoe went into the trash and dessert was eaten in stocking feet.
QOTD: Still trying to go at with the kids.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Steak
Dinner: Butter Chicken and Naan
Have a great day, all!

You both look great. Marilyn's dress and hair are beautiful. I used to carry slippers in my purse for when my feet would get too sore from the heels. I have had broken heels but never had a shoe deteriorate. What a miserable thing to go through and she still looks so put togethe and happy.

Good Morning! Sounds like a great weekend. Things are hopping this week with the acquisition happening Thursday, lots of prep across the departments. We had a big wind storm (we even got alerts on our phones) and rain yesterday which was crazy but luckily let up by my commute home.
QOTD: I haven't really participated in a sport but I think chair volleyball is a great idea! Have fun!
