What's on your Wednesday menu?
Thanks! Checked my warehouse to see if they have them and they do. Heading there soon to make sure I can get a couple.
Very weird question but somehow you always remember random facts about people: what Lego advent did I get last year?

I believe that you got Star Wars for your son and Potter for your daughter and that Kai immediately did his as soon as he got home for the holidays.

I am loving all the pictures. I love your advice. You have to be careful with the protein snacks as well. If I get snacks that are not portion controlled, I go overboard. Looking at you Fitzels.

Good morning! Looks like winter outside (for us at least). Yipee. Amy, I remember when you left the OH conference all jazzed up about your options. Love how you channeled that into action.
Accountability for yesterday. M&M's. I've been carrying half a single serve size bag in my purse since I took the girls to the movies last week and yesterday I decided I needed to eat them. At least it was after I put in the time in the gym. Move calories 679, exercise minutes 136, steps 12,777. Other than that, I stuck to my meal plan. I only managed 92 grams of protein. Need to better that today. Should have chosen chicken over M&M's. My weight is down but it's because I am dehydrated. My hands look like bird claws. all bone and veins. Ick.
QoTD: Start your day with a plan. Food/exercise/water. I decide what activity I am going to do the night before and dress for it when I wake up. I make sure that I have what I need in the fridge and pantry to be successful. And I'm not always successful, but being intentional about things seems to drive me to a higher success level.
Today I am taking my 3 mile walk route. Wi**** was as pretty as Sheila's. But it's effective. Then lunch at home followed by book club. And I will drink lots and lots of water.
Bites today
B: 1 egg, 2 slices bacon, a little banana
L: last of the leftover cod. Think I'll toss it with the Miso salad mix I have from TJ's.
D: TJ's braised beef roast, a little mashed potatoes, sauteed summer squash with parm sprinkled on it
Peace!

You are rocking your gym activity! Being prepared and intentional is everything. And I'm 95% more likely to follow through when post it here daily.

Give yourself a pat for having had the M&Ms in your bag and not devoured them right away, as I would have.
Funny you mentioned my forest walk; the day before yesterday I was thinking of you while running it, because when you were here some of the paths were closed due to rain. I was in a very pretty area and thought "I wish I could have shown this to Lisa!" Next time.

Regain is so common and it is unusual for people to lose it again even with revision. You have done fantastic. The closer to goal, the harder it is to get it off. I need my ice too, water is not appealing to me unless there is lots of ice. At times, I have averaged one pound a month loss and in time I would finally get to goal. They used to say that the slower you lost, the more likely it was to stay off. I don't know if there is any truth in that but it would console me when I had gone a month with no change at all on the scale.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Hi friends! Pure mayhem over here - I moved Monday so I've been packing or unpacking for 3 straight weeks. Yesterday I worked 4 hours and still got 3.7 miles walked INSIDE. Literally that was just tromping floor to floor and settling in. I am nowhere near done. I'm having to accept that this will be a month long project - I'm gone 4 days this weekend and then an entire week so when my mom and her caregiver come back they are going to help me organize and figure out where the things go!
I am bummed I missed yesterday's QOTD. I am proud to say, NOW! I am seeing great success on Wegovy, I had the strength and courage to leave a relationship that wasn't what I wanted or deserved, and I moved to a new city. Onward and upward! It's been a super challenging year but I'm feeling excited!
Q: I also had a ton of regain - which I'm battling now. Apparently the stress of moving is useful for weight loss - I've had a big loss in the last month. I think I have two tips - you will find success in the kitchen, not the gym. Focus on food choices, calories, macros. However, exercise is critical for mental and physical health as well as just functional strength. My tip here is: the best workout is one that you love! I'm so thrilled I found Jazzercise - it's cardio and strength and the most amazing community!
I have not been eating enough (said me, never), but todays eats will be leftover spicy tuna, leftover egg salad, and I'm going for a walk later to explore the new hood and may try an authentic street taco place a few blocks away!
Have a wonderful day!
