Good morning ~ Happy taco Tuesday! Yesterday was my driving day and it was lovely until I got to the hotel and it was over 100 degrees. I took a walk and was dying; damn I am not used to this. I'm within walking distance of some fun places but this heat is too much. I've already been to these places, but it would have been fun to go again. Today will be a busy day of peopling and I'm ready for it. I have plenty of protein snacks in my bag, so I won't be at the mercy of the mystery food offerings.

QOTD - If you could commit any crime and get away with it, what would you do and why? Revenge isn't my thing, though I can think of a few wicked crimes I might enjoy... But my final answer would be to rig a billion-dollar lottery jackpot in my favor! Why? Because I never want to work again - Party at Yma's! And, if I'm allowed to commit a second crime, I'd like to rip the tags off my mattress.

Accountability - Great for food, 25 active minutes and 10,037 steps, the last 300 were jogging in place before bed. No weight today and no planned exercise but will walk around as much as I can.

B- coffee, fingers crossed for eggs/bacon and fruit

L- TBD

D - Tacos!

s- quest chips, edamame, jerky and cuties if needed

Have a great day!

That meme is hilarious! We are squarely heading into winter here though. It's so damn cold. In fact, question for the ladies who have hit their time--I have always known about hot flashes but is getting INSANELY cold at night a thing? I read that hormone fluctuations can case feeling cold, and lately it's been crazy. I am under blankets surrounded by body heat from Grim and cats, and I will be shivering with my teeth chattering. It's been a few weeks like this. It feels more internal than external.

I have a glorious no-meeting-WFH-Tuesday and I am excited to dig into a few big projects and decorate some cookies on my lunch break.

QOTD: I am torn between rigging a lottery and taking revenge on my vast number of enemies. Grim thinks it's hilarious that I still hold hard grudges against people from kindergarten, but if you wrong me, you will not be forgiven. Ever. Anyway, revenge sounds fun, but getting away from everyone and living on a fancy remote island in a fancy mansion with my fancy boat, and only Grim & cats might be the better choice.

Accountability: Didn't have much to eat yesterday and I actually drank a lot of water and got over 12k steps. Who am I? Of course I woke up feeling hungry so it's not going to be a stellar repeat day.

I'm not sure I've lost that much yet but maybe it's contributing?

I'm either hot or cold no in between. I'll be in bed and everything is fine warm and cozy but then I wake up I break out in a sweat. I use an electric blanket when I watch TV, and the kitties usually on my lap and legs. Unfortunately my feet freeze. I have some polar fleece socks that are the only thing that keep them warm.

I seem to be fine for the first 20-30 minutes then I just start shivering uncontrollably. It's such an odd feeling.

I have not had cold issues only hot. I been at this for 10 years. Went to the yuck doctor the other day and asked me to stop the progesterone cream and start on something else. Tomorrow will be a week on the new med and yesterday the hot flashes are back. I hope the med kicks in soon. I am wondering if that is a side effect from the Wegovy I remember being cold on Phen Phen.

That's an interesting thought about the Wegovy side effects. I hadn't spent much time looking them up because I think sometimes knowing side effects can make you susceptible. But I'm looking now.

I hope your new meds kick in for ya!

Morning gang. Nothing too exciting here. It's been a fairly quiet week for me, though I've kept very busy.

Second summer? It's definitely fall here. It's still 49 degrees after 8am, and most every day looks to top out in the 60s.

QOTD: I like your lottery idea Ymaliz. Except I'd invent a time machine first. Knowing a future lottery number wouldn't be illegal, right?

Speaking of which, on the news this morning they said that Megamillions tickets are going from 2 bucks to 5, starting next April. So maybe I'll hold out for the 2 billion dollar lottery.
