Happy Thursday everyone! Glad you're feeling better JB. Sometimes you just need to hang on the couch and chill.

The weather is definitely getting cooler here in CT. I had to be to work for 6:30 this morning which I made it right on time. Today is our second employee appreciation luncheon which is a Hawaiian Luau they are cooking a whole pig on site. The first one was on Tuesday, and it was a Texas BBQ. The guys are all excited.

Of course, the goat was like why the hell are you out here at 4:30 to milk me I'm still sleeping. LOL

QOTD: Yes I have by a guy I dated for 5 years before I met my husband, and can I tell you all I got sweet revenge on him. I know I haunt his nightmares every single time he goes to sleep. ? I'm not a person to cross as you will pay the price.

Besides another coffee my food for the day is going to be a little bit of the following. I have to try a little bit of everything.

roasted Kahlua pig,

pulled pork,

chicken teriyaki,

Hawaiian roasted vegetables,

sweet and spicy noodles,

mandarin orange and toasted almond salad,

tropical fruit medley,

pina colada passion dessert,

New England clam chowder and clam cakes,

spring rolls,

coconut shrimp,

pork pot stickers,

cole slaw,

pistachio cannoli cake and lemon coconut cake.

I hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Good morning ~ Less raccoonish is a good thing! I had another productive day - lots of planning, organizing and getting things done. I'm back to dreaming about finding a new job or moving to Mexico again. I've got a few problems that I don't have solutions for and until I do - new job and Mexico dreams - they are my go to for escape. Today, I am writing procedures mostly. This week is almost over thankfully. I can't wait for the weekend - it will be a good one.

Accountability - I was insatiable yesterday - added quest chips, beef jerky x2, yasso bar x2 and ate my lunch before 11 am. 53 exercise minutes and 8,610 steps. Today I am 169.0 and I have 30 minutes done on the treadmill.

B- coffee, legendary pastry

l - RGF burrito, greek yogurt and salsa

d - chicken with greek salad

s - cuties, parm and pepperoni, cucumbers and tajin

Have a great day!

I'm smack dab in the middle of come process automation improvements and I'm hoping it all makes things better. But, truly the hold up is still other departments and until those are also fixed we will continue to bottle neck. It's almost like we are starting with the process improvements backwards since we are already waiting at the end now we will just be ready sooner and waiting longer?

I firmly believe that some days are body are telling us to seriously fuel up for a reason. And if you make all good choices like you did, your body needed it. If it's a weekly or daily thing, I believe it's head hunger. But if it is very random, fuel your body.

That's what I was thinking. I figured it had to be my body because I was able to make good decisions. If it's head or emotional hunger, it's gonna be a bad decision.

QOTD- Yes and it was truly hurtful and made me doubt myself even more. It was an abusive relationship and I spent many years apologizing for his behavior and believing it was my fault. It wasn't.

This stinking cold is still hanging on, I just want it to go away. If I talk too much it gets me coughing and it just sucks.

Too much work and not enough time, I'm trying to get through it but it has been difficult. I'm trying to just take them one at a time and work through them and not worry too much. Easier said than done. But my boss asked me yesterday if I needed more work and I said no. We have a new boss and he hasn't figured this out yet, so as long as I can say no I will.

My smoke detector went off for no apparent reason this morning. It is loud, maybe the kitty litter dust?

Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all!

Today I am attending a class new to me in the afternoon for election officers. I always volunteer to work at the polls, and every time, no matter how many years you have worked at the polls, you need to attend a 3-4 hr class as a refresher for the rules. But this year they want us to attend a special training to defuse situations and how to deal with angry voters. This is in addition to the rule class. I was surprised because simply if they are worried about angry people in our little blue bubble I wonder how people are doing in swing states.

QOTD: I started my dating life in Italy, and cheating is part of it and it's done on both sides. It's not a good feeling to always have to look over your shoulder and never trust the person you are with. I knew it when I was 13 that I would never marry an Italian simply because of the cheating culture. If I ever find the person I'm with has cheated on me there wouldn't be any more trust or respect, and whether I want it or not the relationship would crumble without trust and respect.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Keto quesadilla (it was a total fail)
  • L&F yogurt (pumpkin), hb egg
  • Protein Icecream - pumpkin ginger
  • E: 6 miles wog

Happy almost Fri-yay!

My father-in-law was from Italy and always openly cheated. My brother-in-law was the same. So were a lot of my husband's Italian friends. I was married 40 years and do not believe my husband cheated on me. Of course you never know for sure, but I told him that trust to me was like an egg. If you break it, there is no way to repair it and it would be over for me.
