What's on your Monday Menu?
I used to work with a guy whose wife was from Mexico. He would bring her homemade salsa to work and I could not stop eating it. I never found any as good. Sorry you are having so much trouble with the foot and hope they come up with a good solution at your appointment tomorrow.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
G'morning all!
JB - beautiful chair and good luck on the gas tank. Is it the same as a water heater?
The grueling hike paid off. I finally weighed myself on Sat. The day we left for our trip I weighed 147.6; on Sat I was 144. Now to keep it in this area instead of going right back to 147-149. Obv I can't walk/hike 10 miles a day so I gotta figure out how to keep it down. Last time I was below 145 was last year in Aug but by Nov I was back at 148. I know in the big pic this is not a big deal but it's one way for me to keep an eye on what I eat and not let it get out of hand. Because as we all know the more you let it go the harder it gets to rein it back.
On the second day we hiked to 15,190 feet. Salkantay Mountain (translation: Savage Mt, due to it being untouchable) is in the back of the pics. After that we descended to about 9,000 feet for our second night camp at Mountain Sky view. For the first time we had private showers and it was glorious.

Haha! Are you referring to the trekking poles? Believe you me, we wouldn't have made it without those poles; both going up and coming down those poles were a god sent.

15,000 feet must be around where you'd need oxygen bottles?
