What's on your Thursday Menu?

Morning! OMG yesterday was another wild day. Another one when the morning was relatively quiet but the afternoon blew up. I never even got a chance to come back and read.
I woke up to some very insistent cats. I give them their wet food twice a day but they have a big feeder that doles out their dry food automatically a few times a day. Apparently the hopper was empty and even though they have plenty of dry food left in their dish, they noticed it was not coming out and started freaking out. Fezzie literally slapped his little paw across my face about 400 times starting at 1am. I didn't realize why until I came downstairs this morning. He'd make a good Lassie if he cared about anything except for his own food situation.
QOTD: What is your comfiest go-to outfit for a day on the couch? I go with an absolutely giant cotton t-shirt and flannel pj shorts and I would basically kill to stay in that outfit today but I have to look nice for the office today for an important meeting.
Accountability: I was too busy to eat and my stomach hurt when I got home so not much in the way of calories and about 13K steps.
- protein coffee
- egg bites
- almonds and babybel cheese
- chicken sausage
I remember a cat that would cry if I put the last of the box of cat food in his bowl. The bowl was full but he knew that box was empty. At least twice I went to a supermarket that was open all night to get more Meow Mix. Not that long ago I stopped on my way home from a party to get a can of ReddiWhip because my cat had that for her nightly bedtime snack and I had dropped the can and it would not dispense any whipped cream.
I have lots of flannel PJs that are great for lounging around.
I think it is actually great that your job is so busy because it is much better than being bored. The hardest jobs I ever remember were when there was nothing to do but I had to look busy. I was 16 and working first job at an Air Force office. The Colonel told me to take old reports out of the file and go through every page with a pencil and darken every period.
That was boring but I looked busy. Later they assigned me the task of making dogtags for airmen. That was interesting. I learned a lot from that summer job.

I'm pretty sure my cat is currently planning to hitchhike to Ohio now that he's heard there is a chance of getting ReddiWhip as a nightly treat!

Gracie was 18 and the vet thought she had diabetes. It turned out to be low blood sugar and the ReddiWhip gave her a little blood sugar boost and she had more energy. Of course, once you start something like that you have to keep it up or the cat will not be happy with you.

Good morning and yay Thursday!
meetings in the morning then flight home then a couple of meetings and then chill! Yay for Thursday.
yesterday I had a grand total of 3271 steps and a whole 7 active minutes. And those minutes were from running down the hall to ge****er or a bio break. Good thing I like to stay hydrated or I might have been in single digits on steps, lol.
qotd - lounge pants that are a size too big and giant t shirt from pre op and usually a hoodie or cardigan over it. Super cozy!
I'll have my yogurt and peanuts before heading to the airport, I have a chomps and a power crunch bar for the flight and I do have a coffee in my hand. I can't think what I have at home for dinner though.
have a great day!
