Good mornin everyone! Hoping your week is going ok.
My appointment yesterday got moved to Thursday. Today we're taking Miss Tange to the vet clinic to get a few tests and a few vaccinations. Since she has no trouble puffs I hope it means she's a girl like we are thinking. She may be a late bloomer though. I may clean on my bedroom some. Just needs a few things dusted and what not. I'm groggy as heck this morning but can't get decent sleep.
They did approve the myelogram so I should hear today or tomorrow when that'll be.
QOTD: we donate to a place for women who are in recovery from addictions. They have two thrift stores we go to often,
food is unplanned today.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good morning ~ It's already Wednesday, very cool. I'm going in early for a meeting so I need to get going already.
QOTD - I pass my things to my sister and nieces - they love my stuff!
Accountability - good, but blurry with bites of this and that , 54 active minutes and 10,182 steps. Today I'm 168.8, 30 minutes done on the treadmill. I've been in diet fatigued for weeks now, just maintaining-ish, eating too much or things I normally wouldn't. Trying to get back to machine-mode and get the rest of this weight off. I read that diet breaks can sometimes help, I think it did me - but they run the risk of going total f***it, so you gotta be careful.
B- coffee, protein iced coffee
l - ham and cheese on protein toast
d - grilled chicken, tomatoes
s - melon, nectarine, jerky
Have a great day!

Good Morning! I hope your dad makes some progress today and they can't blame him for being grumpy that's for sure. As expected yesterday went by quickly and I anticipate the same for the rest of the week. I need to make time today to call my Dr to postpone my surgery that is scheduled for October. I at least want to see what happens with the shockwave therapy and then revisit in January if needed.

Do you feel like you are getting benefit from the shockwave? My friend that had it said that he really felt the full improvement a few weeks after he completed the series, That he just woke up and the pain was gone!

Mornin' All!
my brother arrives today from North Carolina, so this should be fun. He's planning to stay with us part of the time and my mom the other part of the time, but I'm betting he'll be staying over here more often. My mother has declined since he was last here, and she can be exhausting (at least for me...was for my sister, too, when she was here last spring). She gets very confused, repeats herself often, and asks the same questions over and over. Typical of dementia (we've been through this before with my dad), but still... We'll see how much time he can actually spend over there. He's generally more patient than I am, though.
I took my mother to the ophthalmologist yesterday, and she has to see a retinal specialist, which I scheduled for early October. The MD yesterday said it's time for Mom to have cataract surgery, but one of her retinas has some swelling, so she wants Mom to see this specialist to see what's going on before she'll approve cataract surgery. Hopefully everything will be OK.
speaking of parents, I'm sorry to hear about your dad, QJB. We've been through lots of health issues with parents (mine and DH's) these last few years, and I know how upsetting that can be. It's very stressful - esp when you don't have siblings around (or siblings at all - like DH - and I think you, too, QJB)
QOTD: in the past I've donated to Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul, but when my MIL died, we made most of the donations to thrift stores run by a local hospice and our county humane society. I'll do my own donations to one of those in the future.
coffee with half & half
skyr with fruit
protein shake
I don't know what's up food wise for the rest of the day. I'm guessing we'll go out to dinner with my brother as we don't have much in the way of "dinner food" here, and I don't know if he wants yogurt for dinner...
have a great day, everyone!
Good morning, everybody!
I have an eye doctor appointment this morning. For some reason, most of my annual doctor appointments have become clustered around this time of the year. I don't mind the eye doctor, but its usually a couple of hours before I can get back to work after the dilations.
I think that I am now all set up on the new phone. Just waiting for my case to arrive which should happen on Saturday. I like the portfolio style cases and I guess Apple no longer offers those in its store. I am kind of nervous to have the phone without the case, I think that i will try and mostly keep it in my briefcase. As far as the transition: the Apple portion was super easy - just place the two phones next to each other, and follow the instructions, but the work part was an ordeal - multiple calls to our Help Desk to work through Okta Verify and get a new RSA token. This should be the last time I have to do that though.
Other than the doctor, I have a few things that I need to do at work, today's gym has more squatting and my legs are already sore, I need to wait for a package for our anniversary celebration, and tonight is Happy Hour.
QOTD: There is a goodwill a couple of miles from our house, which we use sometime.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Turkey sandwich
Dinner: Not sure, maybe just cheese and crackers.
Have a great day, all!
