Congratulations. Your one of the small percent that has been able to keep things under control. You deserve to be very proud of yourself for a job well done. Your inspiration keeps many of us going. So proud of you. xoxo.

Good morning, everybody!
Looks like a great birthday weekend, hope everything goes smoothly for Grim today.
I had just the weekend that I needed to have. Caught up on triathlon stuff after two weekends away, battled the parslane successfully, did a bit of house organizing and watched the Olympics. Marilyn joined me on my bicycle ride yesterday. Friday's crab and tortellini dinner came out fantastic. My son was a little disappointed that we had to use crab meat instead of getting whole Dungeness crabs, but, hey, we are in the midwest. And it was 100% real crab. We paired it with a glass of Blanc de Blanc and it was heavenly.
Two weeks until the triathlon. This will be my last week of grinding (5 Crossfit, 4 swim, 2 run, one ride). Next week I will taper off with a few days of total rest before the event on Sunday morning.
I think that I said that we are going to Asia in September. Last night one of our friends sent us a 9 course Chinese meal, with pairings, at the hotel in Bangkok that we are staying at. As good as it looks, I just don't know how many course I would be able to eat, even if they are small and I am just taking a few bites. It pains me, but I think that i am going to have to pass. Unfortunately, I don't think that it is the kind of thing where 3 at the table order special dinner and I order off of the menu.
Today is my second to last swim class. I really want to wear my suit for it, so I'm going to try and swing by the house so that Marilyn can zip me.
QOTD: Not very good. But I never was, so its not like there has been a slippage.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: Catered
Dinner: Hamburgers
Have a great day, all!

G'morning all!
Swinging chickens for Grim!!! And what beautiful pics of him, and you. Sounds like you guys had a wonder time away.
We had a very restful and no plans weekend. Sometimes you need one of these weekends to just laze around and/or catch up with errands. I did both and I am ready for a very productive week.
QOTD - I meal prep my icecreams, does that count? Every afternoon I need to decide what flavor I want for the next day, prep it and put it in the freezer. I'm very proud of myself.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee + Barebells bar
- Costco chicken skewers & cucumbers
- Protein icecream - caramel pecan
- Tuna pouch + Wilde chips
- E: 5 miles wog (took Sat as my rest day)
Happy start of the week!
