Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs,
JB hope your commute is uneventful. Finally, a Meme I cannot relate too. I would take a steak dinner over pizza any day. Anybody else obsessed with the Snoop Olympic pin? How about Phelps and him in the pool yesterday. You gotta love it.

Good morning! Yesterday did not go completely as planned, but dang it was fun. Ok -- Deadpool and Wolverine. Jen was NOT kidding about not taking kids. I'm no prude, and my head was spinning with the language, the innuendo, the blatant in your face comments and words I would never say in public, possibly in private. That said, it was great fun. We ended up eating all three meals from restaurants. I did awesome for breakfast and lunch and had no snacks. But somehow last evening turned into all the neighbors at our house tasting wines we bought to make a decision for what to serve at the event Saturday. Lots of bottles were opened. Some got dumped in the sink. I refrained from any of the whites and also from the espresso martini's Roger decided to make at some point. I did have too much wine, but I had enough sense to get pizza ordered so we were all able to eat and I scraped the toppings off of two pieces of chicken and garlic. I pounded water to try to keep my stomach too full to go crazy on the wine tasting and I feel like I was pretty successful and today I feel awesome. I ended the day with 8 minutes of exercise and 6,723 steps. Good thing it was a planned rest day for me.
But, because of the impromptu wine tastings, I did not get my jobs for the event checked off my Tuesday list. So today's just became longer. Roger is golfing this afternoon and I'm thrilled. I'll be home in the AC just working on my to do list and I have excellent bites to carry me through the day with little to no prep.
QoTD: For sure the peeps on this board that are talking the talk, walking the walk. This is never ending hard wor****ep falling down and getting back up. Sheila and Jen and Trish have been instrumental in reminding me that I can always find something to do to move my body. Amy shows me nearly every day that putting your head down and committing pays off. Jim impresses me with his willingness to attempt big new things. (You will probably NEVER see me in a triathlon). Outside of this group, I'm very impressed with my trainer. She is my age, in amazing shape and encourages and pushes and cheers and works right along beside you. She is currently modifying the crap out of everything as she is most probably looking at hip replacement surgery real soon, but she still shows up and does all she can. She is also generous of heart and mind.
bites today
B: cottage cheese and grated tomato on protein bread
L: insides of a perfect taco.
D: bites of Roger's rib eye, 1/2 corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes, 1 or 2 tbsp's of baked potato
Peace Everybody!

G'morning all!
LOL!! I swear my husband told me he wished I would look at him the way I always look forward to my icecream. He says it with such wonder because HE has never lusted after food.
We have somebody coming by shortly to look at the side of the house to replace some wood. The side that faces the ocean always needs repair more than the other sides. My problem with this guy is that HE told my husband why do you wanna replace your driveway, I can just poli**** for you and repaint it. I have been working on this project for two years to convince my husband that we need a new driveway (stamped concrete vs what we have now full of pebbles) and this guy threw a wrench in my hard work. He will hear from me once DH has left for work.
QOTD - I would never admit it to him but DH is my role model. The way he approaches food, no emotional attachment, and exercise, loving what he does and not doing it because he needs to lose weight, is my goal. I also admire this group on OH; I come here every morning because you are my support group, and my accountability, and I learn from you each and every day.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Protein naan w/turkey breast and cheese
- cherries, jerky
- Protein icecream -blueberries
- E: 5 miles wog
Happy hump day!
