Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
I will be living that Meme in about 1/2 hour. I have an appointment with my new bariatric doctor, and I already know what I am going to here. I just need to start moving. Can someone put more time in my day?
QOTD: I love my English bulldog cause him is so cute. But he is a hard head and does not listen. He needs us to fulfill all his needs. It is his way or no way. Kinda like his mumsy. I love the intelligence of a Labrador retriever. They are so smart and always wanting to please their owner. I actually thought about it this morning as I was getting side eyed by the turd. My next dog will be a lab.

QOTD: German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois all the way no other breeds in my opinion have the intelligence, loyalty, determination, and protection that those two have. Plus, it's so much fun walking my girl and when she alerts to creepy people sneaking around those people definitely think twice before coming near me.
My brother has a Belgian Malinois I call her psycho dog. She's a failed police dog and has way too much energy and separation anxiety she has to be near my brother or she barks. But she is a sweet dog and she knows how to open all of their doors so they have to lock them to prevent her getting in. She's way too smart.

She sounds like a high prey drive one. Those usually don't do well as a police dog, but agility and dock diving they excel at. They are super smart and can figure things out rather quickly.
Good morning. They extended our heat wave warning through Friday. I hope Sheila likes sunshine and humidity. Excellent day yesterday on all accounts ending with a fabulous dinner. I would eat that every day if my A) body could accommodate that much butter on a regular basis and B) If Roger wouldn't kill me for the clean up. Splatter does not even begin to cover what happened in our kitchen. Roger was in there scrubbing like it was the location of patient zero in an outbreak. Under the title of exercise, 72 minutes of exercise and 7149 steps. Again, I'm always surprised that I don't nail steps on hard class days. I feel like I am running for days. Also the market was up and I felt some relief with the national news. Lemonade.
Today I am getting a few groceries, a few more items for the fundraiser, maybe going to see the movie Widow Cliquot with a friend if we can get organized. Easy day.
QoTD: I have mostly had rescues and I have loved them all. Short hair breeds and long hair and sweet and neurotic, calm and crazy. We've had three purebreds over the years that were gifted to us. Of those, I'd take my big sweet English Chocolate Lab any day. I like them big and non-drooly. I just can't do the slime thing.
Bites today are a work in progress
B: last of the Shakshuka egg
L: last night's dinner.
D: Need to get out of my seat and dig in the freezer. So I'll be surprising myself.
Pics today are from Glacier Garden's rainforest in Juneau. This guy stuck trees that had been knocked down in a landslide back in the ground, upside down and makes planters out of them every year. Every season they pull thousands of plants out of their greenhouses and replant and every end of season they pull them back in. It was really stunning and located in a park that felt like Jurassic Park. The place has so many native plants as well and tons of Skunk Cabbage. Skunk Cabbage grows to be about as big as me and the bears use it when they wake up from hibernation like you all use Metamucil.
