Good Morning, gang. I got my cookie order completed yesterday! I thought it would only take me 1/2 the day but it ended up taking the whole day. I had hoped to get outside for some hammock time, but I never ended up seeing the sun. But at least this order is done. It was a weird one and I was nervous about it for months. I'm glad it's finished!

I'm only working T & W this week! I have Th & F off to head off to Maine (yay!) to take a woodworking class with Grim. Anyway, that means I have a ton of things to do in the next 2 days! I am going to get started early and really hope nothing exciting pops up.

QOTD: What's your favorite dog breed? Grim just told me about this adorable Swedish breed that looks like a cross between a wolf and a corgi and I am obsessed with the cuteness. I am still a cat person and I have no intention of ever getting actually getting a dog but if I did, I tend to like really big fluffy ones like Newfoundlands and Bernese Mountain Dogs an St. Bernards.

Accountability: Not very many steps since I was tied to my cookie table all day, but my only unplanned snack was a piece of cheddar cheese before bed. I keep forgetting to bring up the ice cream maker from the basement so that I can try my hand at some protein ice cream!

  • protein coffee
  • HB egg

Good mornin y'all.

Yesterday ended up being the longest of days. I am just so run down from sleeplessness that it's making days stretch on and on. I have an appointment today that I was told was Wednesday...my reminder card said so. Whatever. Going to ask for a new sleep aid. It only got up to around 84° yesterday which is unheard of here. It was so nice! Back up to near 100° later this week lol. I'm going to make some sorbet this evening in the Ninja Creami. I'm excited about it!

today will also involve chainmaille. My arm and hands hurt badly but they'll hurt regardless of what I do so I might as well be productive.

QOTD: mutts! If I had to pick a particular breed it'd be an Irish wolfhound or Great Dane. I love dogs and have always had them but I think these three are our last for a long while. We want to move into an apartment at some point. Pet deposits are out of this world

i'll be having eggs this morning per the usual. I have no idea about lunch. I'm thinking just a sandwich with half a serving of chips. Dinner I have no clue about.

Happy Tuesday! Nothing special going on here today. If JB gets through work early enough we migh****ch Cleopatra, the old Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton movie. We were going to watch it last night -- until we saw that it was 4 hours 11 minutes long. No way we were staying awake through that.

QOTD: I'd have to pick a boxer. I've had a couple, and they're just wonderful.

Good morning and happy Tuesday.

Qotd - I have only ever had dogs from the pound, it's a good breed.

accountability - I only had breakfast and dinner, unfortunately dinner was when I got to the hotel at midnight and had a digiorno microwave pizza and a hard cider in the room. Also, no planned exercise today but the 156 active minutes yesterday will have to do.

menu

the coffee pot in the room didn't work!! The inhumanity!

large coffee with half and half and Starbucks egg bites

one of my teams is doing celebratory tacos and I've been invited, however the lunch is after my come to Jesus meeting with them so, I might pass on the tacos

filet and asparagus

have a great Tuesday!

I always drink hard cider In England and Ireland. I bought it once In the US and it did not taste good. Wish I could find a brand here that I liked.

I don't know if your town has a micro brew culture but if so those are good places to get a hard cider.

Doesn't sound like a meeting you're looking forward to. I'm sure you'll handle it perfectly.

I sympathize with the inhumanity of no coffee! No coffee to be found in DS's place, because he has become one of those "my body is my temple" guys and drinks only green tea! Thank goodness there are three starbucks on campus (right across the street) and I'll be heading out soon to get my drug fix.

A temple should be a happy place. Bring extra coffee.
