What's on your Thursday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs
You'll be out of the weeds soon enough JB. Just hang in there. Anybody else experiencing the "I can't wait till this week is over" feeling like me? Oh my. Car is getting inspected today. I get pickup and delivery, so I am stuck in the office all day. I am also thinking about going to a gym class if everything goes well with my inspection.

Mornin' All!
well I've had two negative COVID tests now (Tuesday and today), and no symptoms since Monday, so I'm good. Meanwhile, DH is still testing positive and coughing up a storm. He evidently got hit harder than I did. Hopefully his will clear up soon since we have a busy week next week.
there's a landscaping company at our house now doing some pruning that DH doesn't want to do (since it involves being on the roof or up on a ladder). He used to do all that himself, but no more. At this point he's only willing to keep the lawn mowed and raked and doing more simple pruning. There's also an HVAC guy here inspecting our A/C unit - he had to replace the capacitor. DH originally told me he was replacing the compressor, so I ran out to talk to the guy since that unit is only four years old. Nope - capacitor. Whew. Much cheaper!! (plus he said those normally need to be replaced every 5-7 years, so this is early, but not SUPER early). Glad it wasn't the compressor...
QOTD: I guess more of a follower (?)
coffee with half & half
oatmeal topped with skyr and half a small banana
protein shake
Mexican-style salad
protein muffin or protein ice cream (the coffee one turned out especially good!)
dinner TBA - we may do some kind of take-out
have a great day, everyone!
Good morning from this rule following, rule setting neurotic control freak mess. I guess that should answer the QoTD.
Great day yesterday! I got my sweaty walk done in the humidity. 54 minutes of exercise, 10,901 steps. Got the menu nailed down for the fundraiser and we assigned jobs. Had a food melt down mid day due to my schedule being off and a tiny pouch morning, so for the first time in a VERY long time, I was munching on food while I was driving home. Because munching and driving seems safer to me than crying and driving. Luckily, I just bought some fresh chicharrons for dinner and I was able to just eat 4 or 5 small ones to push me through.
Today is price comparison shopping online for items I need to pick up for the fundraiser and making a list of what to get at what stores. There will be online ordering, confirmation calls, and reading of my current book. I'm aiming for steps and not exercise minutes today. My muscles are sore still from HIIT. I can point to the exercise and relate it to the aching muscle. But today is better than yesterday! I was limping by nighttime yesterday due to gluteus maximus pain. My bootie hurt. Specifically my right bootie. You'd think they'd hurt the same, right?
Bites today
B: meat and cottage cheese
L: carnitas and tomatoes
D: chili lime chicken kebobs and coconut rice

I would totally tour his place in Miami!
The tall guy is our buddy Mark. Unless you are in transit tracking software, I can't imagine where you might have met him. I love traveling with him. He is more ADD then me, so he always wants to be in charge. He's tall so I can always see where he is going, he walks fast like I do and he is fearless with a map, so I never feel like I'm lost. He was the best part of Paris 2 years ago!
I love a nicely set table! At least until I spill something.
Pre-surgery, I had dinner at the the Versace Mansion. We sat outside and I was so overheated that I just got up in the middle of dinner and hopped in a cab. One of those, I didn't take my jacket off when I had the chance, and now I can't take it off situations.
