What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good morning everyone. It's supposed to be another scorcher here. I've got pretty much everything put away from the party. I'd like to do a few things outside before it gets too hot. I can't imagine living in a truly hot climate. It's gotta be nuts.
Yay for bad food being gone! If it's in the house, I'll eat it. The only solution, for me, is not to have it.
QOTD: I miss spending all day on my bike.

The hard part when I lived in AZ was that when it was 117 and you got the 10-15 overnight temperature drop, it was still over 100 degrees. Also, getting to Labor Day and realizing there was still 6-8 weeks of 95-100 left. I am a cold weather person for sure.

Good Morning! I don't think I have anything to buy on prime day, I'm sure I could "find" stuff but I'll be busy at work too so I won't make the time to shop-haha. The rest of this week will be busy and I'm sure it'll fly by. I didn't get great news at my appt yesterday. The MRI didn't give much more info than what he'd already thought the issues are but with PT and the anti-inflammatory not helping the next step is surgery. Again. Not the same surgery as that was to shave down a bone and this is for my tendon. I'm sure it'll be a few weeks while we wait for insurance approval and then we'll go from there.

Good morning, everybody!
Quick hitter this morning, I have to get a vaccination for my trip to Asia this fall, and I'm running late. I think that it is one of the Hepatitis shots today.
Marilyn got home about 9:00 last night. She had a great trip. Preceding her was an email from one of the quilt attendees suggesting that we do a San Diego/Paso Robles trip next May. One of the quiltees was originally from San Diego and has been pining for the Del Coronado ever since Marilyn and I went in February.
QOTD: There have been some great answers already, but I will say running around barefoot all day.
Breakfast: Hash
Lunch: Sushi
Dinner: TBD. The cupboards are pretty bare.
Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs,
I hate when the vegies freeze. This happened a couple weeks ago somehow it was turned downed to 32°. I lost a big bowl of salad. I was not happy. I believe it may have been the housekeep when she wiped the fridge down. Grrrr. I am also looking for a new bariatric or medical weight loss center for my bariatric follow-ups but was told I have to get a referral from my PCP. What do they think I don't know I need this? I am so mad.

QOTD- The endless summers, riding my bike, having a ton of friends within biking distance. Always something to do and kids to play with. The house I grew up in, my cousins and just being a kid. No mortgage, no work, no worries.
I finished Michael Bennett's Better the Blood in one session yesterday. Jen thanks for the suggestion. I've got the next one on hold.
Not only is it going to be hot today but we're supposed to get the smoke from the fires. I think I've given up on my garden, nothing is doing well, the soil is too dry and too much clay. But no one else's is doing well, the plants at the store I went to Saturday looked worse than mine. It was just sad. But my neighbors looks good, so who knows.
I'm just depressed and sad, nothing that I can change so I'll just muddle through.
Have a great day everyone!
