What's on your Monday Menu?

Morning all! Happy Monday! The graduation party we hosted was a big success! It was a very fun day, but we could easily have fed 70 more people comfortably! Oops. We sent hundreds of cookies home with people and Grim hid/froze the rest of the food for future events so we are back to a normal refrigerator and pantry to start the week. Phew.
Our cats are usually pretty friendly and they like to come out and meet everyone at parties at some point, but Saturday they were just frightened from the moment our first guest came. Even yesterday when everything was quiet and back to normal, they were aloof and hiding. I think I found Innie's hiding place, though ;)
QOTD: Do you wear arch supports or inserts in your shoes? I don't. When I tore my achilles I had to wear wedge inserts for a long time, which really helped alleviate the pain but other than that, I have never used anything.
Accountability: Saturday;s menu ended up being: 1/2 cheeseburger in a bun, 2 cookies, too many handfuls of potato chips and a few peanut butter filled pretzels. Terrible. Yesterday was nominally better: egg bites, a few tortilla chips and spinach dip, a few peanut butter filled pretzels and a 1/2 cookie. Basically a weekend with no nutrition. Yikes. Back on track today, I swear.
- protein coffee
- egg bites
- honey citrus chopped salad
- steak
Morning gang. We had a really fun party, but it was a lot of work. We always swear we won't do it again. But we always do.
That was the most 18-year-olds I've been around in a long time. They're such children! I'm sure I was much more grown-up when I was 18 . . .
I always cook more burgers and dogs than I think we need. It just won't do to run out, you know? So there were probably a half dozen of each that went in the trash barrel at the end of the night. I was tired, so I fastened the lid and called it quits. Then I got to watch the security camera in the middle of the night, recording a family of 4 or 5 raccoons getting the lid off and having a feast.
My eating was perfect yesterday. I ate nothing healthy, unless you count the oatmeal in some cookies. I ate crap, all day. I threw myself in front of the junk food to save your queen.
QOTD: no inserts for me. I've looked several times, but they're expensive. More than half the cost of new shoes, when I can find them to fit. I just opt for new shoes.

Don't get me started. When I bought the hot dogs the other day, I noticed they came 7 to a package. 7. What the hell do I do with that?
I blame Big Hot Dog. They're screwing with us.

7 is so random but why don't buns and dogs come in equal counts?

My mom could be like that. We'd have 8 people for Sunday dinner, and I'd pull out a bag of potatoes with 4 left. Before I could ask where the other bag was shed look at it and say "Well, you might as well peel all of them." Yeah, for me. What's everyone else having?
